I have been saying for ages malik is not a batsman but come second innings I fully expect him to come up with fighting 50 in a losing cause (I hope not).

We'll do ok guisee, its the 1st Test Down Under, we were expected to struggle :))

Younis is a little cry baby who can't handle the pressure that comes with being a captain.

Upside is we'll get to see Pakistan's batting twice and back to back without having to wait through and get tortured by NZ's second innings and yet another pathetic bowling and fielding performance...

Credit where it's due.

YK made a greater fist of things with a worse side in Sri Lanka (who incidentally thrashed N.Z.). We are being made to look amateur.

:yk

nt sure if pakistan will learn anything from this ...

malik and farhat will still make it for the 2nd test

What makes you guys think, that Younis would have saved us? :))

Didn't mean you afridfan. I get your position to an extent. It's the kids who don't know about leadership and just think YK had nothing to do with us winning the WC.

oh really, what do u miss so much about his batting? be specific please.

One thing I missed was his experience and another was because he has a good tempermant.

He would have made it a little closer as atleast we would have done something in the field. And he averages 50 in test cricket. This was where he could have regained form.

YK is a quitter

Masrur: "I think Pakistan has had enough of Shoaib Malik's antics. Faisal Iqbal should be in, in the next test."

No he wouldn't have made it closer, he already would have been out, mate, have you seen what kind of form that guy was in? so what if he averages 50, look at what he averages this year, that guy would hav gone into a lot of pressure, and would have knicked it.. theres a reason why he's not here.

So you're happy at Yousuf's captaincy and all those edges through 3rd slips?

Admit it YK is a really good captain. And I think this was the series to get test runs. Btw, he has a triple century this year, so yes his test record this year aswell.

really? are you talking about last 20 innings or prior to that
Com,n man guy has scored a triple hundred 4 tests ago and for your info 11 hundreds in his last 30 odd tests with scores of 313,267*,199,194,176,149,135 to mention a few.Averages 70+ in NZ 50+. In Eng and 43 in Aus. So I would suggest you show the guy bit of respect.

Pitches in Australia will be similar as this is not doing much. Ignore the missed catches by Pakistan. Australia will have 2-3 145 kph bowlers and coulpe of them can move the ball too.

Match is not over yet so it is not time to give up but we will have this for next 5 tests probably

Its give and take.

The guy should also give respect for being the capotain and dont act like a drama queen.

I'm not talking about captaincy yaar, yeah Yousuf isn't a very good captain, and YK is.

Yeah I admit he is, but i'm talking about his form, that was on a very flat track, c'mon even Faisal Iqbal scored on that pitch, that was in January, this is November.

Listen YK is the best test batsman we have together with Yousef. I have not doubt about. We miss him as a player.

You can't disregard a triple century that easily. He is the best option at number 3. Don't believe me, think of another that should take his place.

Yea sure,
yeah he is the best option when hes actually scoring...

I really miss Younis's Khan's batting
Well ask him why he pulled out. Nothing to miss if a player doesn't want to play

This is a good experience. Only issue I see here are dropped catches and that is the difference
