Hafeez and the word Opener don't go together tbh. As a 5th bowler he is a great option but in all honesty, the guy does not merit as a test opener. same XI with just Hafeez moving to 7 and Azhar opening for us

I cannot bring myself to applaud hafeez, as his auqaaat is well and truly reflected when we play in marginally helpful conditions.
There are some players even if they prosper or cash in on flat conditions you know they have the game for more testing conditions. But not hafeez, every time he scores in a test match or odi I wince at the prospect of him playing when we travel to oz or as or England and we know how that will turn out.
Maybe an over enthusiastic umpire will help out Pakistan when hafeez is bowling.

Never in tests. Both can hit 140 in short spells but i highly doubt they will do that here.

What is it then? Low bounce - manageable for SC players, little turn and little early swing.

There was because Junaid was going through some bad form. This session has shown that Junaid possesses some skills and attributes that Boult lacks at this stage in their careers.

Boult is quality but he has struggled on these pitches before so it wasn't unexpected. I still rate him higher than Junaid.
