People on here get to carried away lets face it pakistan are generally a poor team, i will say for the last 6/7 years we have not had any decent openers. Inzy n moyo used to rescue the openers all the time. when it comes to batting we are unable to mount a score of 500 in an inns. If you want to be at the top you have to get 500 consistantly just look at australia n now india. Pakistan is in a sorry state full of corruption.

When malik was in charge moyo was complaining about him, now you have the chance as capt why dont you acknowledge the fact that his not good enough for test cricket oust him from the squad thats going to tour australia.

If i had it my way i would sack malik, butt, misbah, farhat, iqbal. select horses for courses!

NZ players seem to score 100's at this ground , so it looks like we will get hammered they will amass a total of 500 plus, then you will see the pitch will suddenly change because pakistan are batting and we will all be out for 200!

The aussies must have seen the squad thats been assigned to tour australia and licking there lips to bowl to them because they will bowl this lot out for less then a 100, likes of johnson will be firing in the short ball and faisal , farhat, butt all will falter.

juggernaut may be not zulfiqar babar but i really do think imran nazir n khalid latif are the best openers pak have. zulfiqar is one of the highest wicket takers in domestic cricket he did take 10 wkts

I started watching this match, the first few overs were really boring bar a few shots from Butt so I decided to change the channel to question time. Thinking no harm can come from changing a channel.

Changed the channel back and it seemed like all hell had broken loose. Two wickets down and Farhat was playing like he was going to be no.3.

I blamed myself, I thought maybe I had been punished for my lack of interest. Maybe the channel changing caused this poor start. Thought I had let the whole nation down.

Right I said, I am going to keep the channel on Zee and watch this one through. I thought I will make sure no one else gets out.

Then I saw Mohammad Yousuf, Umar Akmal and Misbah play the way they did and it was pretty clear that I was not the one to blame. I had played my part, it was the stupid overpaid paindoos who were to blame for this mess. Along with the two paid for doing nothing pathans sitting at home or god knows where shoving naswar down their throats and god knows where.

hahaha i think you sum it up. Both Afridi and Younis should be playing in our Test teams. Afridi can easily replace one of the middle order guys like Misbah or Malik when he plays

As usual another horrible day at the office for Pakistan. It doesnt really surprise me anymore. We desperately need a batting coach, someone has to forcefully work with the batters in the nets and fix all the techincal, mental shortcomings. Inti unfortunately is just not up to this as the last year has proven.
