Or even why not Yasir Arafat? Who was their best bowler before lunch who was bowling a better line than the rest...

He needs a break(and a deserved one)..had a long spell before lunch.
 
Of the highlights I have seen Yasir Arafat so far has been the most impressive and got to 140 K aswell if am not mistaken....
 
I just realized that Talha's hero is Waqar Younus who is there in the stadium so hopefully they will meet each other and Waqar might give some tips to Talha Insh Allah

Commentators really cricizing how Sohail Khan is not even looking close to fit...this is just 6 overs bowled by him. He is getting smashed all over the place...
 
what rubbish bowling is this....waqar is finding lots of faults in his bowling action
 
Infact, he is not getting anything right... wth is going on?
 
Embarrassing really this stuff from Sohail...

Reminds me of Wahab Riaz v India....

Also, VERY expensive for the tests. Not the speed promised that everyone was talking about. He is also struggling with his runup...definitely, doesn't seem fit and we might be one bowler short if he doesn't bowl.

I think he did an akhter and didn't say he was not 100% fit
when he should have so that he would be selected

has increased his pace in this spell compared to his first spell but
but is not getting any movement
 
This does not look like a test match. Seems like both SL's and Pakistanis are still in the ODI mode.

why has younis not brought back arafat yet he was already getting some reverse where as gul and sohail are bowling to short to get much movement

Yeah that one was decent pace. Better over from Sohail that one, even the boundary was not a bad ball.

Would be unfair to Arafat to bring him back right now. The guy just bowled an 8 over spell. You don't want to burn him out or make him injury prone.

Well this is a problem created by Pakistan cricket. Selection is so haphazard that a player is going to say he is fit even if he is not because who knows when he is going to get another opportunity? Could be never.

That being said, I don't think Sohail is unfit, just nervous. He has spent his career beating up on Pakistan domestic batsmen who are not the most solid players, now he is bowling on super flat pitch to world class Test batsmen who average around 50 and above. Big step up.

so even our "millitary medium" players clock 90mph, sorry kiddo, you boys will have to wait DECADES before you can make pace jokes with us. and if in comparision to shoaibs and wasims and waqars and imrans the best you can cough up in 60 years is ishant, well then, i dont think its very funny form your perspective is it?

RA, the commentators were also mentioning that he may be unfit from the expressions...
 
Sohail although still getting spanked looks in better rythm. Over pitching a little but is not getting any movement so quite easy to dispatch for 4s
