I told you yesterday 600-5 dec England first innings and Ive seen nothing to change my mind. If anything Sami and Gul are worse then I expected. Especially Sami. Is he the worst seamer in international cricket at the moment????????????? I would say so.

Man this is depressing. All my gora work colleagues are giving me stick!

Why dont you denounce your support for Pakistan team it wont be hard for your trust me :p then you will not have to worry about the stick.
 
i predicted a high scoring draw as both sides are without their top bowlers, and the bowlers that are playing are not great and the pitch appears to be a good batting pitch

if we take one wicket i think we can go through the rest of the england team as englands lower middle order isnt very strong, i hope so anyway
 
Gul to Collingwood, no run, outside off and Collingwood gets a thick outside edge, simple catch to the keeper and Akmal has dropped it, should have been taken!

You've got to be kidding me? What's this BS about injury. He shouldn't be playing. I always thought if there was one man on the team who wouldn't drop a catch, it would be Akmal. OMG,I am going to cry. This is unbleivable.

Inzzy on defence with Kaneria, just a solitary slip accomodating Colly, on 82* the lucky man is..
 
It's only the first day and fielding is again the 12th man for the other side. Hopefully its only 1st day nerves at Lords and this should improve. Our morning performance was excellant.
 
series has just started and we have already dropped 4.. i wonder how many we will drop once the series is over ?? 15-20 is my guess ??
 
Test match special have just likened the Pakistan bowling attack similar to an average english county level attack. I think that's a disgraceful slur. The English counties should take the BBC to court for having their bowling attack compared to Pakistans. No-one is that bad!!!

Seriously, did abyone expect any different??????? Sami is incapable of bowling accurately. A proven fact. Gul is rubbish - a proven fact. Razzak is a trundler - a proven fact. Kaneria is good but very expensive - a proven fact. Afridi is not a test bowler - a proven fact.

When teams are down or batsmen are out of form - bring on Razzak, Sami and Gul and all is sorted.

Ok - I feel better now I have got this off my chest. Im really annoyed.

we better not drop 15-20, i reckon we'll drop about 12 by the end of the series. what do others reckon???
 
the next 3 days are gonna be so boring.....we can hope for a draw now...and wait for the next test....darn...that not for another 14 days...who came up with such a stupid schedule...grrrrrrrrrrr

dude our bowlers are bowling short...i can just see hoggard pitching it up and our great batsmen just nicking it to slips for cathcing practice...

i am not being negative just realistic....this pitch has good juice in it we just dont know how to bowl on these pitches...waqar can you plz play next test match...

grrr....we cant even reverse swing with the duke ball ......pathetic...

gul....wat happ to him being magrath like and taking those wickets against india....i am afraid that will be his only highlight of his life...:(

I agree, if the pak fielding had been good they still would have had 5 wickets or so, having the opposition 5 down for 270 is generally a good score on day 1 of a test.
 
patience folks....it is after all the 1st day and if I'm not mistaken test matches are contested over 5 days, no?
 
Blimey, Umar Gul is producing reverse swing. Who's next...maybe Mohammad Sami, or better yet, Ian Bell tomorrow.

My oh my how dropped catches have cost Pakistan. England should aim for at least 350 at the end of the day to really impose themselves on Pakistan. Great job by Cook and Collingwood after the burst of wickets before lunch. Looking nice and rosey for us right now though :)
 
the bowlers have given chances (i.e 4 ) and havent bowled that bad. if only our fielders could have taken the chances they were given
 
I feel like shooting the umpires right now, and telling the fielders that I'll pay them $1,000 for each catch they take, and they pay me $1,000 for each catch dropped.

I'd be extremely rich then, or extremely poor. I'll hope extremely poor :p if it fixs Pakistan fielding
