South Africa (615 & 58/0) defeat Pakistan (194 & 478) by 10 wickets in the second Test to accomplish the series whitewash by 2-0

I wish Saim was not injured. Would have been fun to watch him on this pitch. Would have surely done better than KG, Sk and MR.

Only Shan the braveheart could've saved PAK from an innings defeat and he did .

Respect ! Should be allowed to retire whenever he wants for being the ballsiest PAK batsman in decades.

After trailing by more than 400 runs it's a huge task
Nope. That's pretty much in line with Pakistan DNA. When it's meaningless runs with no pressure they can make them. The moment it starts getting real, they check out.

SA bowlers are bowling for 167.1 overs now (across 2 innings).

Lesson for captains: Don't enforce follow-on as it can cause injuries to bowlers.

its not easy to come back after a deficit 400 in follow on.
it has only been been done twice and both times by pak.

SAF bowlers are bowling non stop for 2 Test days now & ball is 33 overs old - Aga can get a hundred here.

Shan needs to get rid of a couple of snakes in his ranks

he will always have to be looking over his shoulder as long as they are there

Highest first innings deficit overcome while following on
473 - PAK vs WI, Bridgetown, 1958 (drawn)
421 - PAK vs SA, Cape Town, 2025
400 - SA vs AUS, Sydney, 2002 (lost)
397 - SL vs ENG, Chester-le-Street, 2016 (lost)
396 - WI vs NZ, Dunedin, 2013 (drawn)

Other time Guyana 1978?

I think, Croft took 8/29 on day 1, then WIN put ~600, then Majid Khan saved the Test....

But not sure.

get into lead and make the opposition bat again
You don't know the soul of Pakistan cricket. It's no achievement. It only happened because they got bundled out for 190 on this road.

It's the Pakistan ying yang which is ultimately meaningless. Always judge them by the whole.

Bavuma's captaincy is utterly uninspiring and mediocre. Only captain worse than him in international cricket is Jos Buttler.

If Jamal focuses more on his batting, can he play as a batsman only? Whenever I have seen him bat, he looks a lot more comfortable than Shan Masood, Rizwan etc.

Rabada bowling at Shaheen test speeds. Slightly slower than Naseem. But the quality of his bowling is phenomenal

From current teams, I think only Australia can come to South Africa and win a series there.

Goodness me! That was a close shave!
Salman had gestured to AJ that it might be going over the stumps.

I wonder if we manage to get a lead of 150, do we stand a chance?

Ye wala umpire ne kuch zyada hi not out diye the. Eik to out dena tha warna suspicious lagna tha lol

"Umpire tried his best to help the home team" - few Indian fans

This was on the cards, he looked so nervous the last few delieveries

Pakistan are effectively 20/8.

They should start slogging now. See if they can add 100 more runs.

Bering 441/7 after an opening partnership of 205/0 on a flat pitch against a tiring bowling attack is criminal. Pakistani middle order players lack mental fortitude and game awareness on shot selection and match situation.
