South Africa finish Day 1 of the second Test against Pakistan in a commanding position at 316/4

Abdullah's curse is not leaving pakistan alone... This is gonna cost Pakistan even when he is not playing. Shan should be sacked just for bringing ABdullah as a fielder.
 
This from the Pakistan dressing room: "Saim Ayub twisted his ankle during fielding. He has gone to hospital for further investigation. Updates will be provided in due course."
 
Average of 23 after 18 tests, would give Shan Masood a run for bis money. Can’t wait for us to gift this jobber a century

I was glad we didn't have a fast-bowler getting injured before an ICC tournament this time. Instead we have an injury to arguably our most important batsman.

Starting to feel we are cursed.

I actually think Pakistan would have won the last test match and Nauman Ali been there.
He is very vile and doubt that SA’s tail would have lasted as long. He would been a nightmare on that up and down pitch because he’s dead accurate with subtle variations and change of pace.
Don’t forget! The 2 test matches Pakistan has won in SA were courtesy Mushi and Kaneria’s 10-fers.

Pakistan will try to force him in even if he is 60% fit, and they will have to pay for it

I heard some ITK journos saying Imam is likely to open regardless because the management doesn’t trust two dashing opener approach as both players can get out early

Musa deserves his spot—he's a domestic table topper this season, and I always back performers.

For guys like Mir Hamza, the rule is simple: get your chances, perform, or make way for the next. No favorites here, just merit.

I don’t believe in hype; I believe in proof. If a bowler isn’t tearing up domestic cricket, they’ve got no business in international cricket.

And no, international cricket isn’t for learning—it’s for delivering. In Pakistan, sadly, players usually go backward, not forward.

He's another player with strong PR behind him. Not just the mindset, but the SR is an issue too. He is a 79-80 SR player who struggles to rotate the strike with a major weakness against the short ball. And you just know that he will fail in a high-pressure match like the India one.
 
What a toothless attack - I don’t which know genius thought it would be a good idea to have two military medium floating excuses for fast bowlers
 
Modern day SA batters average quite low (late-20's, 30's).

Previous generation of SA batters were averaging far higher.

Tbf i don't mind you at all, and enjoy having talks with you.

So far all our talks have been respectful with maybe only slight bitter banter but that's normal.

And you were also right about Mcsweeny and Mcgurk and have good knowledge on aussie cricket as well.

Lastly you don't mind my opinions towards rizbar either.

My issue with rizzu and babar and Indian fans is that if I say anything less then hero worship everyone pounces on me as if I've stolen their wives smh.
 
Is SA not playing their main team or their line up is really this poor? Apart from Markram and Bavuma, I haven't heard the name of anyone.

@Junaids was saying they are an emerging team with full of talent. So it must be true.

Nah, this is pretty much their batting. They are missing some key fast-bowlers but the batting is full-strength.
