Back stiffnessWhy did Shan after toss say we wanted to bowl & why is pretty boy Naseem rested ?
First Saka, now Saim .Saim Ayub looks like he’s injured for a long time
This from the Pakistan dressing room: "Saim Ayub twisted his ankle during fielding. He has gone to hospital for further investigation. Updates will be provided in due course."
I was glad we didn't have a fast-bowler getting injured before an ICC tournament this time. Instead we have an injury to arguably our most important batsman.Saim Ayub looks like he’s injured for a long time
Inshallah. Could be Worst possible start to our new yearI hope he is okay.
I actually think Pakistan would have won the last test match and Nauman Ali been there.Don't think so. For example there was absolutely no need to play a spinner in the last match. And when you have someone like Agha in the team who can bat and bowl fairly decently you don't always need a specialist spinner in SENA if the conditions are really face friendly.
Pakistan will try to force him in even if he is 60% fit, and they will have to pay for itI was glad we didn't have a fast-bowler getting injured before an ICC tournament this time. Instead we have an injury to arguably our most important batsman.
Starting to feel we are cursed.
Typical PakistanWait rizwan will bat > Saud .
What a joke squad selection. No noman?
He's in the hospital being investigated. But Saim out of CT would be a huge blow for PAK.Toothless Imam and out of form Fakhar to open in CT
Let's just hope he hasn't torn a ligament first. If its a grade 1 sprain, he should heal relatively soon.Pakistan will try to force him in even if he is 60% fit, and they will have to pay for it
He had to be helped off by 2 guysLet's just hope he hasn't torn a ligament first. If its a grade 1 sprain, he should heal relatively soon.
Imam coming in for Saim is like replacing a sports car with a rickshawToothless Imam and out of form Fakhar to open in CT
I know. I am trying to give myself honsla. But again, a sprain can be managed. A ligament tear is really, really bad.He had to be helped off by 2 guys
Not looking good
Pakistan were itching for this anywaysImam coming in for Saim is like replacing a sports car with a rickshaw
Musa deserves his spot—he's a domestic table topper this season, and I always back performers. There has to be some qualitative analysis too.
Musa khan is leading bowling charts rn. If he keeps this up for another season, will you say his selection is justified?
I can confidently say he can't have a test career. Similarly, I can confidently say Mir Hamza will never get his test average below 30 no matter how much he plays.
Shan at toss said rested .Back stiffness
He's another player with strong PR behind him. Not just the mindset, but the SR is an issue too. He is a 79-80 SR player who struggles to rotate the strike with a major weakness against the short ball. And you just know that he will fail in a high-pressure match like the India one.Pakistan were itching for this anyways
I heard some ITK journos saying Imam is likely to open regardless because the management doesn’t trust two dashing opener approach as both players can get out early
The mindset is the issue
That's probably why he was rested.Shan at toss said rested .
Cricinfo reported that Naseem had a stiff backShan at toss said rested .
I think he twisted his ankle. Should be fine in couple of weeksSaim Ayub looks like he’s injured for a long time
Just one, but there were a number of edges that didn't carryjust curious how many catches dropped so far?
1 dropped, 3 fell short at slips.just curious how many catches dropped so far?
Slips will only come up if Rizwan comes up. It's up to the keeper.1 dropped, 3 fell short at slips.
Slip fielders needs to come up
Is the injury really that bad?Toothless Imam and out of form Fakhar to open in CT
It didn’t look good from what I sawIs the injury really that bad?
He is? How can you tell?Abdullah is very prone to neuroticism. He should regularly check with a psychologist.
I tuned just now, got free from work, well their goes our ct .It didn’t look good from what I saw
My field of interest. He is? How can you tell?
Our? You're an Aussie fan rememberI tuned just now, got free from work, well their goes our ct .
The SNGPL mindset will be celebrating today. It gives them an excuse to be ‘careful’ in their approach with the batI tuned just now, got free from work, well their goes our ct .
No reports yetIs the injury really that bad?
Our in this context is an, actually you know what nvm, you're here to troll and nitpick words. Our? You're an Aussie fan remember
Pakistan needs to put fielders where ball land after kissing the bat.1 dropped, 3 fell short at slips.
Slip fielders needs to come up
Well their goes your CT.No reports yet
I am a Rizbar fan no Rizbar fan can be a Pakistan fanWell their goes your CT.
I would rather believe what the skipper said at toss . 70/2Cricinfo reported that Naseem had a stiff back
Mulder at 3 flops . poor Bosch !!!I would rather believe what the skipper said at toss . 70/2
Who the hell send a bowler to bat at 3 in test cricket .Mulder is batting at 3
Tbf i don't mind you at all, and enjoy having talks with you.I am a Rizbar fan no Rizbar fan can be a Pakistan fan
I guess they didn't want to change batting positions of their 4,5,6,7 after Zorzi was ruled out.Who’s bright idea was it to put Mulder at 3?
Nah, this is pretty much their batting. They are missing some key fast-bowlers but the batting is full-strength.Is SA not playing their main team or their line up is really this poor? Apart from Markram and Bavuma, I haven't heard the name of anyone.
@Junaids was saying they are an emerging team with full of talent. So it must be true.
