MJ seems to be fired up here and bowling with some serious heat! Massive test for S.A now that smith has been knocked over early.

my issue with Mitch is he has the short ball...and then nothing much else..lets see how he does..
Your one of them amla is god people eh....
Stop moaning. ...
Amla somehow doesn't looks solid while at the crease. Always tentative.
U can teach batsmen how to handle Line and length or swing bowling at fast Medium, but express pace Is something else, u need guts and heart and it Does funny things to Your mind
Who'll be the 5th bowler for OZ here?
I havn't seen any of this test untill the last half hour but is the bounce a bit variable? Seems like that Siddle lbw ball didn't quite get up while a few from johnson have jumped.
SA bowlers seem to have a plan against AB.
against their own batsmen![]()
Being pacy has its benefits as long as you are not being too wayward.
A quality pacer should be able to bowl quick and bowl at a good channel. And for this you need hours and hours of practice. Just wish our quick ones were doing that
Mitchell Johnson is the Kevin Pietersen of bowling. Not as consistent as Steyn just like Pietersen does not have the consistency of the Amlas and the De Villiers of this world. They can both look ordinary when they dont fire, but when they do fire they are basically unstoppable and are proven matchwinners.
Look at De Villiers what a gun player he's striking at almost run a ball! not afraid of Mitch
Aussies are playing super attacking so runs will always be there if the shots are good enough.
Nah. DK sorted out his technique completely.
He's got consistent now.
Proteas choking again![]()

It's understandable for people to be skeptical because of what's happened in the past. I think you need to a) physically watch him now compared to then and b) know a bit about bowling mechanics to see the difference. Most casual observers won't pick up the technical changes.

Johnson is spraying it around here, AB should counter while playing sensible cricket
AB also has to keep Duminy off strike.
Apart from his debut tour, he's the biggest bottler in this team. I'm surprised he's lasted this long so far in this innings.JP can handle himself just fine. If anything he relishes pressure situations as he has proven in the past.
