MJ seems to be fired up here and bowling with some serious heat! Massive test for S.A now that smith has been knocked over early.

Seeing empty stands makes me feel so sad. Our favorite sport is going downhill

my issue with Mitch is he has the short ball...and then nothing much else..lets see how he does..

Your one of them amla is god people eh....

everyone who disagree with your opinion is an amla fan? what a logic :))

There is only 1 GOD and amla is just another human like us. It's just that he is very good in his profession (cricket) so nothing more than that for me. I am a cricket fan so i dont mind watching and appreciating players from any country. From kohli to amla and from johno to steyn from yk to sanga etc.

Now go troll somewhere else and let us enjoy this beautiful game of ball and bat i dont mind watching johno in full flow against amla so no matter whoever wins at least cricket is at its best :P

Petersen is a pathetic opener for a no 1 test team

Stop moaning. ...

We are enjoying this beautiful game of cricket while you are praying for south african batsmen to fail so that you can bump your thread to say see i told ya :)))

man enjoy the game! you will never see a better test series than this one at least this year!

i think if alviro petrson fails in this series then sa should give chance to decock in test team

peterson..idiotic shot..mitch may just run through them!! Ive always said good pace will always put any team on the backfoot.

SA in big trouble. So its all about Amla and ABD once again :13:

MJ ripping the S.A a new bum hole here litterally 23/3

Man MJ is on fire!

SA in big trouble I'm shocked

AB and Amla got to do something but Amla looks uneasy

Now is the time to stamp on his number 1 status for AB de Villiers, battling versus fastest bowler.

Mitch is throwing missiles at em..lol. now the two best batsmen in the team have to do something.

U can teach batsmen how to handle Line and length or swing bowling at fast Medium, but express pace Is something else, u need guts and heart and it Does funny things to Your mind

Damn!!

Johnson looks to be more threatening than an inform Steyn. Australia on top.

Being pacy has its benefits as long as you are not being too wayward.

A quality pacer should be able to bowl quick and bowl at a good channel. And for this you need hours and hours of practice. Just wish our quick ones were doing that

I have to say i was never a big MJ fan but after the ashes and now the start of this S.A series my opinion is changing so what.

I always knew if some aggression is shown to the RSA batting line up they will easily collapse.

I havn't seen any of this test untill the last half hour but is the bounce a bit variable? Seems like that Siddle lbw ball didn't quite get up while a few from johnson have jumped.

Hope AB stays in for a while because him against MJ looks mouth watering!

S.A always seem to start test series slow with the bat and Aussies have exposed that here!

That Amla LBW should have been played on the front foot, it wasn't short

Quality fast bowling Is natural to some waqar wasim shoaib were all naturally brutal in Term of speed and class

Mitchell Johnson is the Kevin Pietersen of bowling. Not as consistent as Steyn just like Pietersen does not have the consistency of the Amlas and the De Villiers of this world. They can both look ordinary when they dont fire, but when they do fire they are basically unstoppable and are proven matchwinners.

Nah. DK sorted out his technique completely.

He's got consistent now.

Thats what i believe too.. was not too sure if the England series was really a "new Johnson" but my doubts are dispelled after seeing him here. Definitely reincarnated and more terrifying than ever.

It's understandable for people to be skeptical because of what's happened in the past. I think you need to a) physically watch him now compared to then and b) know a bit about bowling mechanics to see the difference. Most casual observers won't pick up the technical changes.

I guess so. But it's just so completely different. His arm position is nice and upright now. His run up is a lot better and he's making sure that he has the seam in the right place.

Johnson is wasting deliviries here. The balls to Faf and Smith were gems either than that he has been all over. SA will likely make a plan for him this series. He is going at 4 to the over, without wickets you get dropped for that.

Come on Aussies, Honorable member of the big 3. Crush the rebel SA

JP can handle himself just fine. If anything he relishes pressure situations as he has proven in the past.
Apart from his debut tour, he's the biggest bottler in this team. I'm surprised he's lasted this long so far in this innings.
