for dangerous dilshannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn

srilankaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa chargeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Very impressed with Dilshan.

So far so good. Great shots. Doesn't forget to rotate the strike. Yes he smashes the ball about and the pitch is on the slow side but he uses his brain aswell.

If Imran Nazir wants a template for how he should play his cricket its Dilshan.

Really hope Dilshan plays the majority of these 50 overs.

Dilshan and Sanga going well, good news for my fantasy team :D

SL 105/1 now

Dream start for the Lankans: Propel the run rate via the openers and ride the impetus with the rest of the order. The longer Dilshan's out there, the greater their advantage.

These dont look like South African pitches at all...they seem extremely batsman friendly, personally i dont think thats a good thing.

Where has this new Dilshan come from - he was an average journeyman for 150 odd odis then in the past 12 months in all formats of the game he's been world class. Hope he keeps it up.

It's the move up the order that's ignited him. Flat wickets, a bit of confidence, hard new ball which flies off the bat; it's no wonder he's flourishing.

Sri Lanka going strong now. Dilshan nearing his century. Wouldn't it be sweet irony if he gets out to his scoop in the 90s? :P

How odd is this .. a South African team with two specialist spinners ???

Icc shud do a dope test on him! Lol

pitch looks good for batting..looks like India are gonna enjoy batting on a pitch like this..lets hope our boys can also bat well here!!

If i were Sanga i would take Power Play 3 now, both are very well settled.

SL still in a good position to set a target of 320+ , it's going to be a good game.

Sri Lanka missed a trick by not going for the Batting Powerplay when Dilshan and Sanga were batting.

This pitch is absolutely DEAD, i was expecting some bouncy pitches with a bit of movement.
It's quite disappointing to see these kind of pitches in South Africa.

I agree with you on that.

one day cricket stinks, why can't they just play 20/20

I will ask u whether ODI cricket is boring or not when pakistan will play against India. Btw i wasn't complaining about the match, i was just talking about the commentator. Seems like they didn't eat their breakfast

Oh man, these two are playing test cricket in ODIs. Thats why ODIs suck big times.

Samaraweea has always been a test player but i don't know what's wrong with Jayawardene, he either plays a SUPER FAST or SUPER SLOW inning, nothing in between.

how fast have saffie bowlers been especially in the saffie conditions where ball moves quicker in the air???

are parnell, steyn and morkel all bowling 90mph+???? or was it just in england when the machines were cranked up so that even onions and hilfenhause were hitting 90mph?

Remember SL still have a batting powerplay to go here, so theyre setting up a very good platform for themselves, ust as i speak Jawardene pulls a short one into the fence for 4. 215-3

Steyn mightve hurt himself here trying to stop that boundary....

Finally a good aggressive shot by Jayawardene.

215/3 off 37.3

This has been pointed out a few times in commentary but why take the powerplay in the last 10 overs.

I mean the commentators are right. Before powerplays you'd get lost of runs in the last 10 overs anyway. I mean Pakistan were masters of that.

So really I agree that the batting powerplay should be taken before the last 10 and also when two batters are set at the crease.

Mahela needs to bat throughout so that Sri Lanka can finish up with a winning total.
