There are so many empty seats and crowd aren't as electric as they usually are.
There has been too many important tournaments in South Africa in the last couple of years.
Or maybe they prefer T 20 now.
Juggernaut said:This has been pointed out a few times in commentary but why take the powerplay in the last 10 overs.
I mean the commentators are right. Before powerplays you'd get lost of runs in the last 10 overs anyway. I mean Pakistan were masters of that.
So really I agree that the batting powerplay should be taken before the last 10 and also when two batters are set at the crease.
Omar Malik said:SL should get around 330 with the powerplay still to be taken!
Afridi_Fan said:Not possible.
Agree. It has to be above 300Omar Malik said:True actually! Probably around 300 or 310 at most!
I think because of sightscreensSalman said:whats stopped play?
The sight screen is not changing the sponsor logo.Salman said:whats stopped play?

Especially in a big tournament like CThasanb said:This is where cricket shoots itself in the foot...the game has stopped and no one knows why, how idiotic and how annoying.
I think rules for commentators. They don't tell you things. I bet if this was BBC/TMS radio commentary you would have heard the reason and how ridiculous it is (someone above said the sponsor's logo was the reason). TV commentary lags behind and even if you are watching you don't know what is going onhasanb said:This is where cricket shoots itself in the foot...the game has stopped and no one knows why, how idiotic and how annoying.
I think it is ESPN commentators. We will see Wasim Akram because he works for ESPNmindless slogging said:How many indian commentators are involved here? And India isn't even playing. I hope they don't just assign Indian commentators for asian teams or Pakistan may well get reported.![]()
JustAnotherFan said:Hey, ppl .. quick hello from work. Been following score on CricIndia last few overs. Should be a good game.
Anyway, what is a decent total to defend? I think the Proteas can reach 320.

Plus SL have Murali and Mendis, so I think it will be difficult for Saffersmindless slogging said:Sri Lanka will get 325-335 here. Should be a good game on a flat batting deck.
