Rizwan is a tried and tested dud at the international level
 
SA will probably be not the favorite for a world cup for the first time since 1996. Every single time they have been one of the favorites.

Shinwari runs way too fast for guy with the average speed of 137. Impressive run up for not so impressive bowling.
 
This is why Amla despite having great average with decent strike rate is not going to be feared by opposition. You can work to a play against him unlike other aggressive openers.

The fourth spot is up for grab but Australia are favorite to qualify for semi but others do we have a chance.

A century or something close to it from either Fakhar, Imam or Babar is a must to chase anything over 250 for Pak.
 
wow. you would think SA team management sending out a note or something. This is like watching Dhoni plodding around haha
 
Dussen's FC SR is 48, List A SR is 74 - he is proving why; can't roll on after settling down.
 
Hasan Ali is on 8 runs off 5 overs.
Bowling really well.
Hopefully he can take a few wickets

Agreed, but its good to see they are trying different combinations to prepare for the world cup. Shaheen is an obvious starter in the world cup.
 
I said before, you give Amla a bad ball he’ll smoke you for four, however you keep it tight yes he’ll rotate strike but he won’t go ballistic

This just shows how England bosses opponents at home.
They would have been at 250 by now
 
I know its too late but would have loved to see another specialist spinner in the form of Zafar Gohar, Moh Irfan Jnr in the squad for WC. It could have given another potential combination like

Shadab
Faheem
Zafar, Irfan jnr (Both are decent with bat)
Amir/ Shaheen
Hassan

Could have strangled non Asian teams more often then not.

Markram should be playing in this team, even though his record isn't good so far. He will perform
 
England is going to steamroll everybody in the world cup like a cartoon character. May be they will choke under pressure in a crucial game. But till then they will be dominating.
 
Shinwari is bowling well with old ball, but this is not new - what he (& PAK) needs is new ball bowler. Bowlers are actually bowling quite tight now, but haven't got important wickets between over No. 16-40.

Surprisingly he was really effective like an year ago with the new ball as he was always getting wickets in his first spell as well
 
lol at people who think Amir is being rested. The guy hasn't picked a wicket in his last 5 ODI matches.

I didn’t know they are 6 down for 160. Our standards have become so low that we celebrate 5 wicket-less overs because we created “pressure”.
 
can't have imad, faheem and shadab in the same xi 2 of the 3 is needed and then hussain talat

Won't - PAK opening pacers bowled poor, hence we are thinking it a 350 wicket - 270 will be more than competitive here. Once the ball lost it's shine, it's not coming on to bat and the 2 genuine bowlrs PAK picked bowled really well, 3rd one is doing now with old ball.
 
You go with only one tall bowler , the only exciting thing in team pakistan and you bench him.
