Yes, as long as the first two and last two are standing, doesnt really matter. :)

Pretty much :))

Edit - Harbajan Singh has bowled really well in this series, giving the ball flight and trying to take wickets. Good on him.

He has bowled well after a long time. But at times too negative.

In all fairness, Samaraweera was out. I have no idea how he was given not out.

Review goes against Kumble!! I reckon this should be out if the umpire is consistent with the ones he has given in India innings.

Review system is stupid - this is why some countries are so against it. Just means more mistakes not less.

But yep should have been out.

Edit: Sachin again attempting to intimidate the umpires from the dressing room. You have zero credibility on this subject Sachin mate

I hate to say it - but the Indians were robbed there. Samaraweera was definitely out.

Oh my god I cant believe that wasnt given, comical stuff here :)) from cricinfo; "The virtual eye says it would have hit the top half of the middle stump" :))) :)))

Well his default bowling is far too negative in general, that is the problem with his bowling. He has talent but bowls a defensive line and length.

I agree. It was plumb.
But if it is any consolation for you, this umpire is now going to get blacklisted like Bucknor was. BCCI is not famous for forgiving and forgetting. :)

Hold on to that thought mate if the ball hitting middle stump wont be given not out by the review system, well then there is nothing wrong with trying your luck against a decision that is not so obvious :)) ...

Romali you and I both know that if it was Ricky Ponting in the dressing room raising his finger and gesturing that a decision should be out the Indians would be out for his blood...

Edit: review system clears Sri Lanka again, looks like Indian fielder was trying to claim a dodgy catch too.... :D

If it were Ponting, it would have caused a mini-riot.

Gambhir claiming another suspicious catch. No holds barred, eh?

Yep clears Sri Lanka again after it uncleared India when he should have been walking his way back to the pavilion :)) ...Nope not a dodgy catch, would have been dodgy if the catch was taken with the ball in contact with the ground like what Ganguly, Ponting etc have done in the past..
Ricky will get crucified is becuase of his own acts and behaviour in the cricket field which SRT I must admit cant match as he is a level above RICKY in tha aspect :) ...

No doubt about the fact that it was out, and India have been robbed of a wicket. That said, Tendulkar has no business pointing from the dressing room. He should shut the hell up and do what he went out of the field to do, getting medical treatment if required and if not required, get his sorry ass back on the field.

Depends on how you define above. :)

I don't blame Kumble but he has now started appealing for LBWs on balls played from middle of the bat.
Sharma in. This will be interesting.

He does that normally. In the Sydney Test he appealed for an lbw when Brad Hogg hit the ball through cover for 2. You won't hear much about that from the Indian crew.....

:))) I won't be crossing my fingers for it.

Manjrekar really doing a hatchet job on Mark Benson.

I have no doubt that he will go the way of Steve Bucknor. You can't infuriate BCCI and continue with your career these days.

Sri Lanka strongly poised at this stage. India need Sanga and a couple of quick wickets to put themselves back into this match.

India will wind up with no one to umpire their games :)))

That is a distinct possibility. And Modi and co. can even pass some kind of a law whereby only Indians will be eligible to umpire international matches. Enter Jayaprakash ...

he raised his finger after the decison was made he was not a influence
on the decison loser.

Well actually quite a few posted that you had been robbed.

Don't expect anyone to cry for you though :D

Ishant getting in trouble for that running on the pitch habit of his....

Edit - Ishant in injury trouble as well, are India losing the mental fight?

I criticised the decision right away. It was deplorable.

Vaxman, Tends, Bhajji, and now Teeli.
What's happening out there?

Samaraweera GONE ! ct. behind on Zaheer's bowling.

Ishant Sharma suffering from right buttock pain. And I thought he didnt have any buttocks.

Are you a girl, checking guys out?
or you just like going against the social norm

Looks like we will see a postive result in this test. Sri lanka need to get atleast a lead of 100 here!

pretty old fashioned test match in progress..

Exactly what I was going to say, that run rate from SL is from pre-historic cricketing times :dna

Must be quite absorbing to watch, since match is still in the balance.

Get one of the mods to Pm me your email, I missed it if you did post one..
Its okay mate, Momo emailed me one. Thanks.

Kumble losing it now. What the hell is he yelling at Karthik for? He is livid. :)

Bhajji back to his negative stuff (two yards outside off stump). Come on sardar ji, be a man now.

That commercial of Preity Zinta which keeps coming up, I cant help but think how hot she looks... :D

Cat and mouse stuff. Test cricket at its very best!

Sachin should watch this innings by Sanga, what class he has showed yeah he did get dropped a few times but this is as good as an innings I have ever seen...

Gets his 100. Showed great patience. Could well decide the result of the series.

Well played Sanga, cometh the hour cometh the man.

I feel the result is already decided and India has no one but themselves to blame for such a pathetic show..

Kumble the weak link in the attack and Sangakarra the man who stands up to be counted when it matters, still feel it will be difficult to chase any decent size score here so Sri Lanka need to gain a sizeable lead.

Careers on the line for some of the Indian middle-order, you just getting a feeling one of them will make a score.

I disagree. See, any lead less than 150 and you never know. This wicket will be hell for team batting last. And then there is the Sehwag factor. If he stays at the wicket for two sessions, all predictions will go out of the window.

Dont think he did but with that oscar winning effort he deserved atleast a pat in the back :)) ..

Dilshan gone. The match is on. India is still very much in the match, maybe even favourites.

TruSachFan said:
y did he ask for a review? :p It was clear the ball hit the pad first :D

Come on mate give the batsmen a break they dont have eyes behind their head do they now ??? :)

I can see India losing with thoughts like these; 'if' 'if' only we held onto that catch when Sanga was 20 odd, 'if' only we batted a bit more sensibly.. The 'ifs' is going to drive me insanee, I can feel it happening alreadyyy....

Have to go out now. My parting shot: If Srilanka can't take a 150 run lead (which is highly unlikely), this match is lost.
