All key batsmen are GONE. Little hope to set 200 runs target.
 
Absolute ripper of a match! The twists and turns seem more dramatic than some of the contrived soap operas in Star or Zee!
 
Should Tailenders Attack Or Just Defend, If They Are Defensive Then They Are Sitting Ducks Really
 
i think these 2 should try to score by hitting cuz i dun think blocking is guna get them or pakistan anywhere !!!
 
What a remarkable test match!
Pakistan supporters must have aged considerably over the past two days.
Not over yet either. 200 may still be a difficult chase.

From a neutral point of view - yes !

From a Pak pov - absolutely soul destroying !
 
Gul Should Look To Slog, Only Way Aamer Is Decent At Taking The Singles, How We Going To Get 34 Runs!

We Need The English Tailenders, Never Thought I Would Say That..lol
 
I hope umpires remain trigger happy with these LBWs when Pak is bowling.
Some of these LBWs could have gone either way.

I cant believe everyone is so shocled about this. It's the third collapse in as many innings There is every chance of another when Sri Lanka bats.

This is fun enjoy it.I am use to it because i am following pak cricket for 18 yrs now.But sadly no wasim,waqar or saqlain to fall back on.

@bold i believe that to but do u really think srilanka can match the "experience" of pakistani collapses i mean 22 runs 6 wickets its a joke :pissed:
 
Really pathetic, we were looking at getting a lead of aroun 300+ at one stage and now we're struggling to make it a 200 run lead!

This is what I feared. I must say, very, very poor cricket by the Pakistanis starting from Younis Khan and culminating with Shoaib Malik.

No application whatsoever.

Anything less than 250 will be very, very difficult to defend in the abscence of an out and out speed demon like Shoaib Akhter and a quality spinner.

This is the reason Test cricket is the ultimate test of a player's skill, mental toughness, patience, everything. No other form of cricket can even come close.

Pakistan have the skill but are lacking in all other areas.

No I dont. But if this match has taught us anything it is to expect the unexpected. And if Pakistan does not win then they can at least be happy with the way they faught back.

that is exactly the problem why do we have to be happy with the fight backs ?!?!? why are we the ones always doing the catching up i really dun mind Pakistan losing but throwing away a match is wat hurts
 
what the hell ?? i checked out the scorecard at 270 for 1 and i just log in now ...8 wkts ~!
 
I cant remember a more shocking collapse (since the last innings... oh and the innings before)

3 major collapses in 3 innings for Pak

I was just trying to extract something positive from all of this. Things could have been so much worse. And yes, they could also have been so much better.
 
Why are they in the defensive mode?? C'mon Gul n Aamer.. we can't bat out the day and draw the match.. You HAVE to score some runs.. Just go WILD!

yh you misssed another history being made, actually we are having a match of collapses, 1st we done it then sri lanka then again us, so expect sanga to give good lecture to his batsmans in the coming innings

Their first task must be to get the team a lead of at least 200. They can go wild, crazy, insane, demented, deranged et cetera after that
 
I have just checked the scorecard, pakistan has collapsed from 285/1 to 316/8 , how have we lost 7 wickets for 31 runs ??? I was so happy with our progress but thanks to fools who failed to take inspiration from fawad and younis we are now going to lose this match and the series. Yousaf,Misbah, Malik and Akmal have been disastrous with the bat, they are GUILTY AND MUST BE PUNISHED.

Heads must roll, for starters we MUST DROP MISBAH FOR NEXT TEST FOR GOOD.

Bring back asim kamal and introduce umar akmal.

Clearly you forgot Pakistan was playing
 
One of these guys needs to attack, we need to have some runs on the board - clearly defending won't get us anything

yeah well i guess if we are to look at the positives then i neve thought we would be leading by 169 runs after getting all out for 90 but one cant help it when our team collapses from winning positions
