Thank you Misbah! The great leader of men who brought us out of our darkest period as a cricketing nation and took us to the top!

Oh Misbah you legend!

A fantastic leader and the best thing Pakistan cricket could have asked for after the spot fixing saga of 2010.

You've been a fantastic ambassador to to the nation and to the sport.

All the best for you're retirement - you will be thoroughly missed.

That gesture with the bat by the boys was emotional. Shows Misbah will certainly be missed in the dressing room.

The PakPassion SS post their tribute for Misbah within a minute of each other :))

Misbah has had the most unique career ever. Deserves a biopic and better fan-boys.

Watching Misbah go.. he doesn't get the credit he deserves. Whatever you think about him, regardless of how limited he was as a player, he always gave his all. He led us to so many memorable victories and brought us to the #1 ranking after reaching some big lows.

Misbah's legend is very unique for it's not because of his ability with the bat . . There have been very few as such . .

He brought us out of our darkest time as a cricketing nation . . not only did he bring us out, he brought us out on the other side where this side was respected around the world under his leadership . . he was a great ambassador for the country! great leader of men! For all he endured, he stuck at it and catapulted us to number 1 . .

Thank you!

Good to see him leaving, he has been a torture to watch and has not been good for team as a player and as captain for more than a year. Failed against tougher opponents and making some runs against the weaker ones.

Tmw when Younis takes the final catch and lobs the ball in the air I hope Misbah catches it and throws it on Ramiz's face. Perfect ending.

Copied

I know Ramiz would prefer to be commentating in the IPL right now, but his commentary in this test match has been pure rubbish.

Goodbye spin playing king thanks for everything. Will never forget the Oval 2016 innings. :salute

And that's it for Younis Khan.

Deserves his guard of honour. Fantastic servant for Pakistan cricket, he will not be replaced easily.

Bishoo turning out to be a legend killer shaz619.

The lead already is fairly sizeable, but need another 60-70 to be on the safe side.

West Indians are digging their own grave by getting Pakistan out. Looking at the pace at which Pak is batting they wouldn't have declared until early tomorrow morning. If by any chance Pakistan get all out, then WI will have to chance 250+ score starting end of day today, which will most probably result in a loss... this collapse may be a real blessing in disguise for Pakistan...

Oh gawd stop with this tribute Ten Sports I am cringing not a soft hearted guy atm

A lead of 250 should be enough seeing how much spin there is in the pitch In-Shaa-Allah

What a story to tell his grand kids lol I use to be a fan of Bishoo :mv Tear in my eye, one of the all time greats departs; will miss Younis Khan immensely. #EndOfAnEra Can't thank Khan enough for all his unmatched contributions to Pakistan cricket, from dominating the Test arena to helping Pakistan win their first ICC championship since the 92 WC win; and he done it all with a smile regardless of what happened around him. A truly unique individual and thoroughbred fighter.

Now that we got the farewells out of the way can we get back to the cricket? In typical Pakistani fashion we are letting this match slip.

Most of the runs in UAE, and for last 3-4 years, one good test inning after 9 failure on average. Insisted on playing last WC and what he did, less we talk is better. Still wish him health and happiness in life .

Okay, back to the cricket . . Pakistan needs to some how eek out 75 runs in this session . . If they can do that, they give themselves a decent chance on a 5th day pitch provided we get a full day in . .

I am of the opinion that getting all out isn't a bad thing, because I don't believe Misbah would declare until he feels he is safe . . by that logic, 75 runs for 5 wickets in this session would set up the game nicely for Pakistan

This isn't the day, give it a rest.

There's no need to arguing over it but we definitely would have declared tonight if we managed to get enough runs on the board but whatever. We can still get close to 300, which is definitely doable if we can stop throwing wickets away

End of an era. Thank you for all you have done MISBAH & YOUNIS. Ups and downs still we are not prepared for you guys to leave. Sad day that will be remembered pak wil definitely MIS|YOU.
