Because Asad was brought into the ODI squad as a replacement for Haris Sohail who's injured. So it would make sense to give him some practice.

This ODI selection is in UAE Test perspective. Its fine as these ODIs worth nothing

Yep, that actually makes sense. He's not played any sort cricket for quite some time, so it makes total sense to let him get some playing time under his belt before the Test series.

I'm seeing a LOT of criticism towards Bilal Asif. People are forgetting that Hafeez is banned and that lots of offies in Pak are checkers. Bilal looks pretty clean and he has a good bowling record for someone who has only played 20 List A games. His economy and average look pretty decent and his batting looks improved when he debuted in his first domestic T20 game.

Look at Kallis, Afridi, Watson, Yuvraj, Matthews, Sammy. Thats the type of all rounder we need to be aiming for.
