Love the way NZ bat at 10 runs per over when it comes to chasing small totals. Basically, kill the game off before the opposition has a chance to come back. Superb cricket.

BMac has to be the second most impactful player in the world at the moment after de Villiers.
 
The guy has made like 14 50+ scores last 18 innings or something :)) So he's due for a bad one.

On the other hand with the break, Starc will be refreshed and be able to bowl out the rest of his overs now.

Which is what we need.

I really don't see Roncho and Elliot as reliable batsmen .Just like Miller or Duminy despite couple of knocks .Particularly under pressure or in a chase.So yeah they rely massively on the top3 and need Taylor back in form

NZ will be better if they get a tough 270-280 chase before the knock outs .A

We know we are bad, but why you compare your batsmen to us???

what if this was pak team instead of aus??
everyone would say, match is Fixed, or their are groups in the teams, or players are having problems with coaches, or every one would say our team is pathetic :(

That's true. NZ will have had time to regroup though. Depends on who deals with the break better but I fear that momentum has been lost.

Having said that we don't have enough runs IMO. They just need to score 10 runs for every wicket that falls. They can each cowlash that much. That was just bad cricket from the OZ all round. Full credit to the Hobbits for coming back after the initial onslaught but geez there were some bad shots from Watson, Smith, Clarke, Maxwell and Marsh in that middle order (I guess Marsh could be counted as unlucky).

He throws his wicket away after a good 20, I think Fawad Alam is the second best batsman after Misbah. Shehzad may be selfish but he gets runs too. Sohail needs to put a price on his wicket.

Mitch was a bit unlucky but it wasn't an impossible ball.

The other four have no excuse - especially Maxwell

Why should anyone say anything about Australia fixing? Has anyone had a reason to feel our players would fix a match?

As for players having problems with coaches or cliques in the you probably haven't heard the news about Clarke, Bailey, Lehmann and the selection panel all not getting along. There have been wars of words in the media all the way through the leadup to this World Cup.

Probably want to inform yourself before playing the victim again.

Well to be fair this is a Pakistan-run cricket forum :D

It's just that it has a more international flavour than most other forums around that place which tend to be very homogeneous in terms of their community. That's due in no part to people like you, me and the other internationals that visit the place. But I think we can forgive them if they think their players are the bees' knees :)

NZ posters are generally awesome.

Similarly Pakistani posters are not all with victim mentality.

Will you bring in Bailey for the next match? Clarke's shot was atrocious, expected him to play more responsibly after his team was in 100/7
