What's new

3rd Test, Day 3 Official Thread!!! [01/12/05]

Ramiz and Waqar are simply jealous guys - and traitors as well .. Pardon me for saying that

the Poms trying to rip us off by bowling short...atleast they ve forgotten "reverse"

Udal is 36, he hurt his shoulder this orning he is back now, ready for fireworks?

"plunket bowls a 96mph yorker well dug out by yousuf"

No wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy. Did he really????????????????

Only just woke up, good stuff. It was brilliant to see Vaughan having to resort to the verbals to try and distract Yousuf, shows how desperate he's becoming at this moment in the game

Udal is so crap he can't get any turn if he drove around a roundabout.

Harmy is bowling well but very unlucky to not have Akmal caught, ball scooped , waqar says please put a man where ball is spoonoing

Waqar is feeling sorry for all the bowlers, he is almost gnna cry!

Haha!

What's wrong with Waqar? Has he forgotten that he is a Pakistani?

Waqar: We apologise to Gora Sahab England for treating you like this. We are really sorry, that you are so unlucky to have more wickets

Waqar is so stupid! You can't have more than eleven fielders who can be placed all around the ground for scoops like the ones seen in this innings. Shmuck!

One idiot gone another idiot is in W is gone R is in. At least Lloyd is there to praise Pakistan

harmiSUN is taoool fellow - Waqar discovered something new abt harmison that v all didnt know

First comment from **** MOuth Rameez
You normally dont associate discipline from Pakistani Batsmen, this is very strange!
Go away you idiot!

Can you guys sense the obvious criticism by **** Commentators of their own team and the obvious support of English commentators of their team? When will the Pski's learn?

A lead of 54 runs. Another 100 runs and England have lost this match.

Even a pathetic display of batting from here will see Pakistan to 75 to 80 run lead. England know that there time is running out and Pakistan must take full advantage of the mistakes this pressure will bring about.

What is it with the North Americans' love for the word shmuck?

Manjrekar is very underrated. He has excellent insight and does not get too carried away when India is playing either.

When India and especially Tendy is batting or bowling or fielding he goes crazy. In the Jeet Lo Dil series he was very biased towards India but since then his views have become more balanced.

Mohammed Yusuf was due a big one and it has happened.

The only problem is, he will go back to being his normal under-acheiving self for the next 10 Tests!

Yeah, he has special pyaar for Tendulkar :D , but usually he is quite good.

I've had this bad habit for a while now, sorry Raz bhaijan :D !

Hey its no problem yaar i didnt take any offence. Its just weird but at the same time nice not to mention funny to hear it being said.

Do you guys think that all members of the commentary team are given specific roles to play? As in somebody will purposely support one team, somebody else will support the other, and some will be either plain neutral or appreciate the good cricket all round?

I remember in the Aus tour, ppl on PP were really praising waqar's commentary..but it has certainly changed, so maybe its like a drama to make things interesting in the commentary box?

I would rate him as being the most balanced commentator in the current series. And that has nothing to do with him not being English or Pakistani.

He, unlike Rameez and Waqar has had the balls to defend Pakistan when the likes of Beefy and Allot go crazy on criticism for Pakistan.

You mean WWE style "changing of roles" ?

Post day 1 press match quotes from Colly:

"We can win this game. Hopefully we can get to 350, possibly 400 and put some pressure on Pakistan".

Post day 2 press match quotes from Harmison:

"We can win this game. Hopefully we can knock em off early in the morning conditions."

:))) :)))

No disdain from Rudi for that appeal, even rameez could tell it was going to miss.
