Around 185 overs left in the match and England must know they cannot win this now.

Their only option is whirlwind batting from the word go to try and overhaul Pakistan's target as quickly as possible and then set a lead of around 200 runs.

Even that will take around 70 overs to do, leaving Pakistan to play out an entire day with all their wickets intact.

Surely, even on a last day pitch Pakistan can manage that?

I think we should bat for as long as possible, the longer we bat there can only be 2 results. 4/5 Sessions we should be able to bowl England out. Theres no piont going on a slog & than finding we have to chase a total on a last day wicket.

Current run rate 3.5 is perfect will give us over 200 lead by lunch tomorrow!
