Every season Arteta will win this, Arteta will that and 5 years on its trophyless season after season.

Why would u give these players or manager credit? For winning fk all.

I've seen GG and wenger win league titles, FA Cups. League cup and in Europe (GG)

We have a lower standard 🤡 begging for an apology

But but when i wake up I feel excited thinking about Arteta

No on can ever replace Arteta, hes me hero ..

Arteta raised the standards. The club in the last 10 years of Wenger and 1.5 years of Emery had forgotten what it took to compete for the league.

For years, 4th place was celebrated like a trophy. Now the same fans view 2nd place a disappointment. Arteta raised the bar and reminded the fans what this club is about and at what level it should compete.

He made the fans dream again including toxic haters like yourself who have no faith in him. That is the ironic part.

When did I say anything along those lines? You’re missing the point and not for the first or last time.

Wenger severely damaged his legacy in the last 10 years of his tenure. The last 5 were even worse because he had the money to compete but was tactically inept.

Wenger left the club in extremely bad shape and Emery was not good enough to lift the club. However, Arteta was, and he had to start from scratch. There are very managers in the world who would have been able to to do the rebuild job that Arteta has and this is why he deserves a lot of credit.

To match Wenger’s overall legacy, he will have to either win two PLs and one UCL or three PLs. It is doable.

You are the only exception and you have exposed yourself by indirectly admitting the fact that you don’t want Arsenal to win the league.

It is not something new. Everyone can see that driving your agenda against Arteta, Havertz, Odegaard, Merino etc. is more important to you than to see Arsenal win. How shameful.

I educated you yesterday but you still don’t understand the difference between target and goal.

The target for this season was and will remain winning the league. All credit goes to Arteta because he raised the level of the club again to the point where winning the league is a realistic target.

However, given how the season panned out, the minimum requirement is a top 4 finish just to control the level of damage and minimize the risk of losing top players.

When Liverpool have dropped points before, Arsenal have failed to capitalise on 3 out of the 4 occasions.

Then you have the fan base begging Spurs (last season), Brentford this season for favours.

Arsenal have beat forrest and Villa, in the top 10 this season after 20 games mart this season.

Yet the fan base wants to make excuses and resort to supporting other teams just after the half way point of season foe favours.

The “master” who got booted out of PSG and Arsenal because he didn’t have the chops to manage big expectations.

He is a small manager perfect for small clubs with small ambitions. There is a reason why so many big clubs who changed managers in the last 12 months didn’t go for him when all of them could have easily prized him away from Villa.

Arteta is doing the job Emery was appointed to do by the Arsenal owners but he was not good enough to do so. Arteta is living Emery’s dream.

History is just history. It has no bearing on the present. Historically, City and Chelsea are not big clubs but who cares?

Aston Villa in contemporary football is anything but a big club. They have no ambition and no resources to win the Premier League or the UCL. No Aston Villa manager will get sacked for not winning the Premier League or for not going deep in the UCL.

Aston Villa can fail to win the league in the next 30 years and their supporters will not complain. They can finishing anywhere between 4th and 8th and their fans will be content.

All of these clearly suggest that they are a small club in the dynamics of contemporary football and know where they stand in the food chain.

Emery is the perfect coach for this level. Not every coach has the chops to handle a job where he is expected to win the league and the UCL. That is a different level of pressure which he is not capable of sustaining as we saw at PSG and Arsenal. He is made for middling clubs like Villa.
 
Newcastle and United have done Arsenal a favor. The players look hungry and determined. They have raised the level and are ready to push Liverpool all the way. It is on.

That’s rubbish.

Arteta is under pressure to win the league. This is why fans are unhappy with this season so far even though Arsenal are 2nd.

Arteta has done rebuild job that Emery was hired too in 2018 but was not good enough to do so, just like he was not good enough to win the UCL for PSG.

You are drawing illogical parallels again.

The clubs that you mentioned did not emerge from a decade of failure where they forgot what it took to compete for the league.

Arteta revived Arsenal from a period of darkness Where the coin completely failed to compete as title challengers. Arteta has brought back that mentality to the club so he is obviously going to get a long rope at Arsenal.
 
Name a manager at another big club

Bayern, Barca, Real, Man city, Chelsea etc.. where they have currently gone 5 years with out a trophy and kept the manager. Like I said the kronkes are happy winning nothing 🤡

Maybe Emery should have done all this “thinking” when he was at PSG and Arsenal, so that he wouldn’t be wasting his life at Aston Villa, a club that has no ambition and resources to compete for the league and celebrate individual wins like trophies.

5 years 700M and you would expect a squad to be able to compete on all fronts. Trophies are not a guarantee, but when this squad is so badly that's on the manager.

Arteta is the reason why finishing second feels like a disappointment. It is the same club that celebrated 4th like a trophy for a decade.

Arteta has brought that competitive mentality to the club and I have full faith that he is the right man to get Arsenal over the line.
