He would rather wrap the series here than look for psychological blows .

You keep worrying about the draw here IMS - I'm guessing the only Test you saw here was the one during the India tour when the wicket was flat due to the soil they used to prepare it. Draws are very very rare at the WACA.

That said, five sessions should be plenty especially if they can bat fast.

Can the stage be any more set for Twatson. Chance for quick runs, England on the ropes, Bambi unable to bowl, what more does he want. If he can't get at least a half ton he should retire.

If he doesn't score he should be dropped permanently from tests, have had enough looking at his constipated face when he trudges back after getting out.

nah,i even saw that Fleming skippered test .
i think batting beyond lunch & hence asking Eng to bat for less than 150 overs is defensive . i had a bet with my close friend an hour ago that Eng will not last 100 overs or 300 which ever comes earlier . The loser of bet has to treat every one for a meal on Wednesday & everyone actually means 4 people

Well yesterday looked to be a very demoralising day for them mentally, they started the day in a reasonable position and ended with 360-odd behind with 2 days to play and their best bowler injured. Prior's performance behind the stumps summed it all up. They need a defining bowling performance from someone, anyone, and they need to play for pride pretty much. Because there's still 2 Tests to go after this.
