Yes. I never thought it was harsh on him because I'd realized years back that he was never going to make anything of that 'talent' of his people talk so fondly about.

I also think you should stop blaming the system and start blaming Umar Akmal. He's been in the team for 8 years, has been given ample opportunities at every position, and he's done nothing. Ditto for guys like Nazir and Hameed who turned into mediocre batsmen after getting off to great starts in their international careers, the good thing in their case was the selectors didn't persist with their failures like junior over here. Asim Kamal, is the only one I feel was treated unfairly.

I just cdnt agree with you on anymore. There's almost no hope left in our cricket now just like the country which is going to dogs as well. I don't want to bring politics here on this forum but truth to be tod nothing is to going to improve in Pakistan as long as pmln , ppp and their cronies are at the helm of affairs. Period

This is quite pathetic, I think Shezad needs to be brought back into the side ASAP.... Pakistan batting line barring 2 batsmen are just bits and pieces players. Its quite disappointing to see Pakistan perform like this totally opposite to what I expected.......

Yeah and Shehzad with an average of 32 and a SR of 72 (lower than Misbah, Hafeez & Azhar Ali) is going to do any better.

Yes. We lead the Moral Victory series 1-0. Kept Australia under 300.

I'm not completely sold on Rizwan yet, but as he hasn't done much wrong - (can't blame him for today) I don't see why he should be dropped. His keeping has been excellent off both quicks and the spinners and his energy is much needed in this lethargic team.

If I had to pick one player to drop from that 11, it would be him though. Fawad has been treated unfairly and deserves his chance as well but having Rizwan atm helps Pak more in his dual role

true..the international boycott of our homeland is not helping but its all about politics and destroying our culture....but we will be back..the 60's were the same..some of the 2000's too..but alas this may be the end..

Only a revolution or renaissance can save Pakistan cricket and bring back the lost glory. It's possible,let's keep hope alive.

No chance. JK comes in for Wahab. Irfan will prob get a game if Hassan doesn't make any impact. Other than that don't see him being displaced I'm sure the management have seen his ability even today he was expensive initially but a very smart bowler

Wahab will never be dropped , the juniors bear the brunt usually.

I'm sick and tired of hearing ''X player is so gifted and talented, and can win us games". How cares? Being gifted and talented does not merit a position in the side. Shehzad might just be the worst player in international cricket when it comes to rotating the strike, which makes him virtually useless in my opinion.
