Babar Azam's India-Pakistan Best XI:

1. Rohit Sharma
2. Babar Azam
3. Virat Kohli
4. Shoaib Malik
5. MS Dhoni (WK)
6. Hardik Pandya
7. Shadab Khan
8. Kuldeep Yadav
9. Shaheen Afridi
10. Mohammad Amir
11. Jasprit Bumrah

I assume it's the best players he has played with or against.

No way Shadab or Pandya or Kuldeep find a place in an all time XI.

Why is there a need for an active player to name this kind of team? And that too a captain. I am sure he will hear it on social media.

lets hope hes not having much say on the pak selection at the moment picking a team like this :))

No problem that he has more indians int there, currently they are better but surely better options than yadav or pandya?

seems like pak players and board are on a charm offensive trying to get back into the good books of india

It was a question from Harsha Bhogle in an interview asking him to name a current Ind-Pak T20 XI.

Had to say this before Mamoon starts blasting Babar for being a pathetic man for wasting his time making a combined XI and having the audacity to include himself in the team

Kuldeep Yadev is a joke, especially when he is not even an all rounder. Jadeja would be a better selection. He is even a better bowler than Kuldeep, and of course a good batsman.

This might not be the current best Indo Pak XI but the best players he might have played against. Kuldeep had Babar's number for a while when Kuldeep was in the Indian team, so Babar might have included Kuldeep because he found him difficult to play. Pandya performed in the CT final and also in the world cup match I think.

If its a t20 match then the three pacers are good tbh
Shaheen amir bumrah are not that bad to begin

He named it after 2017 Champions Trophy. Things have changed a lot now.

It was ODI XI and it was asked by Harsha way back in 2017 or 2018 only. Kuldeep was at his prime then.

2019 actually. It was a T20XI.
This was after Kuldeep bowled Babar in the WC and Harsha was teasing him about it in that interview too. Also Shaheen wasn't even in the squad in 2017.

Lol what Shoaib Malik . Shadab Khan? Are you kidding me . This shows Malik isn't going anywhere. Hardik?

Kuldeep and Hardik are included. Wow!

This doesn't look like an all-time XI to me.

These days, the more the controversy is created, the more the moolah is made. What bigger cash cow in cricket than India. Please their fans and enjoy the residual income. The internet forums/websites yearn for Indian mouse clicks. Babar is just doing that.

The thread title is wrong and it should be amended.

It's rubbing people the wrong way. I remember Harsha asking the question and it was not an all time Indo Pak XI, but the current Indo Pak XI.
