Siraj is faster than the clock shows as he loses very little pace off the pitch because of his wrist position.

LSG are like small brother of RCB. These two teams won't go all the way winning even though they may play good cricket in flashes.

Zero intent from Rahul once again in another match even while chasing 200 odd at his home ground

Don’t like Maxwell the guy but what a class player he is

Unlike Rahul, Kohli can't be blamed for lack of intent though. Just that his ability against spin has dipped.

Rahul Dravid will keep him in the side due to karnataka connection.

Let me watch a bit more of the IPL and I’ll tell you who should be your openers

At the moment it’s Jaiswal and Gill for me

Kohli did well in the powerplay actually. This is the issue with these types of players, they just want to bat for as long as they can rather than going ballistic once fully set at the crease having played a good powerplay hand

Imagine giving Maxwell the powerplay

He will score 50 in 18 balls I recon

Super Giants need 141 runs in 68 balls.

Lucknow need some big hits here to come back in the game.

Stoinis is capable of superhuman stuffs. But it is too much to do singlehandedly. Rahul has to give him support

In the recent world T20 Stoinis put ace Srilankan spinners to sword with blistering hits. He is perfectly capable.

KL Rahul 18(20) in a 210 run chase.

He takes his time, gets himself in and then gets out, typical match losing knock as expected in a big run chase.

This is what happens with RCB always at Chinnaswamy. Some XYZ West Indian comes, bashes and sends them home.. It's a normal day for them.

Best T20 keeper Batsmen in the world:

1. Butler
2. DeQock
3. Pooran
4. Gurbaz
5. Klaasen

Am I missing anyone?

Pooran is too high quality International Standard. Look how the local Indian Badoni is struggling to hit the ball while Pooran is playing a video game..

Bengaluru ground is designed for powerful strikers. We saw from Stoinis, Maxwell, Faf early on. Pooran should enjoy here. Weak batsmen with no power can't get away here.

The bowling standards in IPL are just  But to think the likes of Harshal Patel, Unadkat played for India and are still in the selectors radar just shows how bad the bowling situation is in India.

He should've tried mankading second time too.. he was halfway down the ground when he bowled..

The bowler missed mankading otherwise the match as tied..so many unusual things happening in the match. The batsman Badoni had finished the match with a six only to be dismissed with Hit wicket.

Is Bangalore/RCB crowd the most passionate and involved crowd among all IPL venues/fans? Look to me the most invested fans behind their team.

They always had loaded their team with big name batsmen. So they get hyped up with their batting and turn out to the stadium in huge numbers. Only for bowlers to get destroyed by opposition and go home crying.

Situation isn't bad. Selection is.

Look at the Indian bowlers who are fast but are sitting on bench

Kartik Tyagi
Kuldeep Sen
Avinash Singh
Nagarkoti

The likes of Unadkat Harshal Mukesh Kumar Chetan Sakariya Bhuvi etc are playing.

What a thriller!! No target is safe at the Chinnaswamy and RCB have felt their bowling curse come back to haunt them again.

This game had everything, a vintage Virat Kohli knock in the powerplay, a 115m six from Faf, Glenn Maxwell's return to form. And that's just the first innings... In the chase, LSG lost their purple patch player Mayers for a duck, as Siraj cleaned him up with a superb first over. Deepak Hooda and Krunal Pandya also fell cheaply, as debutant Wayne Parnell was making merry.

LSG were struggling at the end of the powerplay, and it needed some big boy power from Marcus Stoinis to get them back in the contest. The big Aussie took on Harshal Patel and Karn Sharma, scoring big sixes down the ground as he notched his first fifty of the season.
Still, the game was in the balance where Stoinis was out, and then KL Rahul departed as well. But out walked 16 crore man Nicholas Pooran and showed the world why so many teams tend to break the bank for him!! He smoked seven sixes and four fours in his innings, hitting virtually anything on his pads to get the fastest fifty of this season's IPL. Pooran couldn't stay the course, but the asking rate was down to less than seven by the time he was out.

The hosts still put on a fight, getting two of their tailenders out cheaply. Had it not been for a failed non-striker run out attempt from Harshal, this game would have even gone to the Super Over. But instead it was a just ball finish where DK fumbled and LSG scampered for the bye.

Bengaluru has less than 50% win record at home. One of the worst home performance by an IPL side

But for the impact player role Badoni would not have batted. It would have been Amit Mishra. Game probably would have been lost by LSG.

Harshal
Axar
Shardul

These should be nowhere near the white ball team.

Axar and Shardul have some utility with the bat. Harshal is useless as he occupies the place of a regular bowler and he is expected to bowl his 4 overs. Axar and Shardul are part time in white ball cricket and they can bat and contribute too.

Tyagi is a trundler too. Don't know about rest. Nagarkoti will be injured if he bowls even 1 over.

India's line up is like this

Rohit
Gill
Kohli
Iyer/Samson/Hooda/Ishan
KL
Pandya
Jadeja
Xxxxxx
Shami
Bumrah
Kuldeep

Do we really want that x place to be filled by Thakur or Axar? Go with only 3 proper bowlers?

Tyagi is no trundler lol. He played 2 matches last year. Highest speed 149.5.

Nagarkoti isn't getting chances. He is fully fit.

Just watching the highlights, looks like the umpires screwed up yet again and changed the result of the game. I don't particularly like mankads but there's no obvious reason why it shouldn't have been ruled out.

I know on paper it seems most logical for every team to send these type of power hitters in the power play but the stats suggest that they make a bigger impact in the middle order.

Search for Ravi Sharma on Instagram. He has videos with speed gun. Clocks late 140s to early 150s. He is a net bowler with RCB.

His friend who has similar pace, Avinash was picked by RCB this season and is on the bench.

Umran is also from the same group. Jammu cricketers.
