There is nothing wrong in having both Jadeja and Axar if they are effective in the conditions. I would prefer Sundar as he is as good a batsman as Axar and offers right arm spin.

Nothing going right for Warner and his boys. The DC captain has been amongst the runs, but his strike rate has been a cause of concern. And that's a really big concern. Had it not been for Axar's Patel fifty, Delhi Capitals might have finished with a lesser total after having put in to bat first by the visitors.

In reply, Rohit and Kishan got Mumbai Indians off to an excellent start, and although they lost some wickets in a cluster during the run run chase, the efforts from their top three made sure to take them over the line. David and Green were calm and composed as MI finally got off the mark.

Kohli is not part of T20 team anymore i believe. He and Rohit will be dumped. They were not picked for last 2 series.

The problem here is only 1 out of Kohli / Rohit / Rahul (and even Dhawan) should be actually playing this format (T20). If everyone of them play (kind of anchors) then it disturbs the composition/rhythm of the team like anything! They are all same kind of players (they kind of evolved during a time when T20 leagues were not that big, so they actually belong to the ODI Era, they blossomed/just started during that time.)

But problem is Indian team (still) is picked based on reputation, stats, experience seniority factors (even for T20)! We are also seeing cases where guys like Dinesh Kartik, etc, are being called back!

Most international sides, you will see at the most just 1 anchor playing in their T20 side (including even Pakistan perhaps!)

So Kohli (the choice out of the 4 that I mentioned, based on some merit) being part of our T20 team may not do much damage if rest of the team is composed of T20 specialists(in fact we may still need 1 anchor in some T20 matches played on tricky surfaces). For instance a team like below may fare much better than regular Indian T20 side picked by our management.

Even though someone like SKY is going through a bad phase/form right now, but we know his potential and can come good anytime. At least he is getting out for golden duck - 0(1) so that rest of the batters are left with maximum balls to deal with, while someone like KL Rahul is coming up with so-called safe innings like 18(19) which will do a lot of damage in the context of the match! We need players who play fearless cricket in T20 matches (that's why West Indies have won twice in this format!) Even bowlers should aim to pick wickets! You need wicket-taking bowlers.

If you form teams like this (it is after all a team game anyways) you will make sure that even Kohli, SKY make proper contributions... If you go wrong with team combination then Kohli, SKY all will look more uglier than they are!
