I am rolling on the floor laughing! Ishant > Anderson, Broad on this flat surface :P

There was a comparison between Ishant and Broad once on here where Ishant came out on top. Not hard to do, since the English bowlers are all home track bullies.

What did Ishant do? He was gifted that wicket. Bell should have just left it alone.

You have to watch the preceding balls to know that this wasn't a fluke wicket.

Bell's mistake? Sure.

Fluke wicket. No.

It was the plan. See the commentary. That's Bell's weak zone. Few inswing followed by a normal or outswing delivery outside off stump.

Extra bounce. Left Bell in 2 minds.

Only Ishant could get that bounce in the Indian attack.

I don't like Ishant at all, but he has bowled really well today.

As i said if India got over 450 they had a great chance of winning the game

Please, you can bash him all you like 364 days of the year. Let him have his moment for now.

Kumar deserves a wicket for his efforts as well, just as he deserved a fifty for his batting earlier.

Moeen Ali looks like a lateral inversion of Amla, with the beard et. al.

From cricinfo

vinay: "Ishant may not be as good as zak or srinath to be called as a spearhead , but definitely the best of the lot in india at present and thankfully Dhoni knows it......"

Well if true, it says a lot about the Indian bowlers than it does about I'shant!

Ishant is like the Afridi of Indian bowling rubbish most of the time but when he gets it right is unplayable

I remember reading a comment on cricinfo after Ishants 6fer in NZ. From an Indian fan ' glad to see the worlds great fast bowlers doing well Ishant Steyn Harris and Johnson'

from my past experiences i can say india might get carried away and england can still get a 400 plus prior and stokes still to come

Root scored a ton in India on debut, but he's looking mighty shaky here.

Indian bowling is looking much better than England yesterday....Lots of plays and misses by England and lots of edges to slips too...It will be interesting if England actually gives us a green wicket...Their batting may not last that long

Shami's inconsistent bowling is spoiling it.

Just bowl over the wicket and in the channel.

Don't try too much.

Lead should be at least reduced by 120 today. Else it would be a draw unless India collapses in second innings.

As I said, Shami just had to bowl over the wicket and keep it around that channel.

Wicket was a fluke though but good bowling in the right areas.

Moeen should have kept his eyes on the ball. Murali Vijay showed how you could just drop your hands and sway away without losing sight of the ball.

I think the green pitch might actually be a problem for England, looking at the their batting and Cook being out of form....They are playing a long batting line up...due to their collapses against SL.

Dravid explained it.

Moeen Ali had his eyes on the ball but when he realized that it wasn't bouncing, his first reaction was to move his head away to protect it.

He should have lowered his hands though from the very start.

Jadeja has been economical.

Jaddu and Bhuvi are holding one end up...Both have economy under 2. Ishant and Shami are attacking. Bhuvi will come to play on pitches which swings and seams....He will for sure nip out a few with the new ball.

How many batsmen have England got !!!! Prior, then Stokes, then Broad ... all with Test Centuries ... Plunkett and Anderson can do their bit too ...

hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah

This is brilliant cricket to watch. Channel 9 should make it FTA- everyone in Australia would watch this

Sadly Binny is the odd one out here ... Even if Ashwin is not effective, he can be accurate and his batting is a big plus. Looking at the pitch ... hindsight of course ...

Then again, if the next match is on a greener pitch ....

At the moment they're falling 95 short.
