Runs are important. Collapse can happen anytime.

As long as Kohli doesn't play a rash stroke, quick runs are hugely beneficial here.

Bhuvi will do the job for us even if there's little help for bowlers throughout

Finally good line ball. thats the place to bowl. :out kohli gone and you need to pitch it there.

Guys , is there anyway I can listen to live radio commentary? TMS on tunein ain't working

What is a bigger shocker. England bowler bowled the ball in the right area or prior catching one? :P :P

All is forgiven as scattergun Jimmy and drop-machine Prior get rid of Kohli.

Rahane and Pujara are better test prospects compared to Kohli in my opinion

Easily.

I have watched Kohli closely and he has a LOT to do to prove he is better than these 2.

Rahane in India is unproven. He may be rubbish against quality spin in rank turners.

Amid all the talk of the terrible ENG bowling, no Indian has got past 25 yet.

Still so much in the deck even 30-40 mins of decent stuff and they should run through them.

So you think england haven't bowled poorly up till now?

it's india on a green track and it's doing plenty, half the battle is won before you take your cap off to bowl you just have to do the basics and take care of the other half.

These two need to be calm, English attack barring Anderson and Broad is pretty much impotent

But Akash Chopra says Virat's ball a peach

What. A. Ball. Virat gets an absolute peach. This is what he does.

He never looks uncomfortable.

He looks great, plays a few shots and suddenly gone. This time though the ball was very good but not exactly unplayable.

it shows he is still not a gun player in tests pujara looks far more comfortable

dravid played 13 test matches in england and he averages impressive 69 with 6 100s
sachin played 17 test matches in england and he averages 54 with 4 100s

how many will pujara and kohli score?

dravid is such a respected man in england and his credentials in england are so impressive

This should clear all doubts n India batsmen. Our guys are decent, if not good; Now it remains t be seen how our bolwers go here

kohli pujara rahane will get better with test matches might become "gun" players in the next 2 years vijay and rohit also can become good players

Yes they are decent no doubt but a decent bowling attack on this should run through any batting on this pitch, England bowling has been terrible, 250 would be a very good score on this pitch

Agreed, it's like laying out a flat track in India and watching Sehwag block all day. Their lengths have been below par.

I saw Kohli's dismissal a few more times.

I am wrong. Its an unplayable delivery like Akash Chopra said.

In fact, the commentators showed Pujara and Kohli playing a similar ball.

Kohli played the right way and got out.
Pujara played the wrong way and escaped.

Pujara is quality.

108 balls for 24 and no issues whatsoever.

Sometimes you are playing well you can edge good deliveries, and when you arent you can get beaten and survive

Give a pitch like this and gimme Pujara. I'll watch him bat all day. One of the best techniques going around

well he is right you need a bit of luck he got some luck though but couldn't cash in

Plunkett wouldn't even make the Indian team at this rate.

Probably the work of bowling 280 odd overs just 3 days back is showing on the English bowlers
