I also totally agree with you.

With the current Pakistan lot...all are good enough making either 40s or 70s but to become great you need to covert 40s into 70s and 70s into daddy 100s.

Asad Azhar Sarfaraz should learn to do this.

Thanks for your kind words! yea we are touring Eng after 6 years and Australian tour is almost after 7 years and SA tour was more than 3 years ago so this is a shocking performance outside Asia because we didn't played anyone outside asia except zimbabwe in last 3 years.

Which they are more than capable of. This game is not even at half way mark - still 226 overs left. I take 20 out with 225 lead. ENG batting for 125 overs to post 450 - PAK 'll need 225 in 75 overs at 3. All 4 results are possible there after.
 
For once smart by pakistan managment,sohail would have slog straight away,amir has brain freezes in between but sohail just slog at everything without thinking

Best Asian test team and one of the top 3 test teams of the world. Been saying it since the start.
 
Amir seems to be getting his batting ability back good signs.
 
My cousin calling again and again asking me to check the forecast on internet :)) he placed a big bet on draw lol
 
The best thing about Amir is that he bats responsibly. He knows that he has to stand his wicket. Whereas, Mr Riaz and Mr Unlucky play like shameless men when they come to bat and get out with big shameless smiles on their faces.

Very pessimistic.
 
After retirement, YK should be associated with PAK team in some capacity. PAK team needs mental development more than anything else. May be Assistant Manager/Coach to Arthur. He is not academically rich enough to do an administrative job at PCB, but can be a very good support staff for Coaching unit.
 
Great batting from us this game got to say. imagine if we held our catches we would be uncatchable

Even if rahat and sohail have score some runs in the last match they can't apply themselves.Yasir,amir and wahab are good tailenders,can even become better than that.
 
dunno what going on with Anderson and why they aren't bowling him

but after this spell from Woakes and Finn, its back to Moeen so the runs will come. Just need to play out 4-5 more overs

IIRC jimmy hasnt taken a wicket and his jimmies are rustled. Has been showed his place. LOL.
 
Boycott was right - this is a 600 pitch. Wish Azhar could've converted his 49 to a hundred, and Shafiq could easily have got to 150 plus.

They don't want to overwork Anderson. It could risk an injury which England can't afford. England may have to bowl again in this game and they won't want Jimmy to be too tired.
 
Amir has a good defence,his problem is fishing too much sometimes.
 
If we were less mentally weak we would have win the serie easily.
 
more time and runs at the crease for aamer may mean a better bowling perfomance from him too, as we have seen time and time again with bowlers putting on a stellar perfomance with ball after scoring with the bat.
 
Aamir is going to improve his batting big time, if he joins County next year. They'll put him at 8, if not 7 and that should be his FC batting spot.

Does Essex still plays home games at Chelmsford?

You need aussie like seamers on this pitch.Aussie bowlers would have been lethal here.

Yes they do.

I would prefer him to play in dvision one though. Will he be able to improve his inswinger by playing in England?
