Don't compare it to tennis.

Tennis does not predict a certain path. It shows where the ball landed, thus it's easy for the umpires to use technology [hawk-eye] in that case.

Cricket requires "predicted path" observation.

Completely different situations. Don't compare both.

Mate, Tennis' hawk-eye displays the landed path. There is no way they can make errors with that. Thus, they use the hawk-eye to CM/MM precision.
