With the first session washed out looks like we will finally get some play

Toss must be happening right about now

Pakistan win the toss and elect to bowl first

Rain Rain go (stay) away

Bowling. yes get England 150 all out, but then our guys will be 75 all out

Wahab is playing!

England also unchanged...good!

1.14pm Salman Butt called correctly at the toss and Pakistan will bowl first in overcast conditions. And in Pakistan team news, Wahab Riaz will play ahead of Umar Gul, who is short of match practice.

Pakistan 1 Yasir Hameed, 2 Imran Farhat, 3 Salman Butt (capt), 4 Azhar Ali, 5 Mohammad Yousuf, 6 Umar Akmal, 7 Kamran Akmal (wk), 8 Mohammad Amir, 9 Wahab Riaz, 10 Saeed Ajmal, 11 Mohammad Asif

England 1 Andrew Strauss (capt), 2 Alastair Cook, 3 Jonathan Trott, 4 Kevin Pietersen, 5 Paul Collingwood, 6 Eoin Morgan, 7 Matt Prior (wk), 8 Graeme Swann, 9 Stuart Broad, 10 James Anderson, 11 Steven Finn

Someone like Farhat playing almost 40 tests is such a travesty considering Hasan Raza has not even played 10

Farhat is our "when we need 150 runs or less in last innings" type specialist....

Some stupid lady keeps talking on Geo ... SHOW THE TOSS FFS!

Now hold yer catches and watch Flower Andy himself.

That pitch looks like a 500 run pitch.

And apparently, science says overhead conditions make no difference........

Blowers on the radio: Aamer coming in to bowl on the practice pitch...and he hits the middle stump.

Interesting toss decision.

Perhaps, the correct one as our strength is bowling.

The laws of Science can be disregarded when Aamer has the ball in his hand. Even the time space continuum sits up and takes notice when Asif comes on...

It looks good when sun is out not right now. Pakistan will have to make must of it by taking quick wickets. Hopefully this time we can get tail quickly.

Tufnell: Asif slithers to the creast like a snake

Blowers: Maybe the batsmen should use a Mongoose bat

Legend

Holland ki Barish aur Tatto ki kharish kabhi gatam nahi hoti

Pakistan must hold to all catches and there will be quite a few of them today.

Pitch looks ideal for Batting!

However, fact covers have been on means that it may see some sweating and overhead conditions will allow for swing. Our bowlers need to make use of Bowling 1st and tear into england early here!

I hate this ****ing match. Winning in pitch black. A travesty to test cricket!

no worries, we'll knock 'em over regardless of the pitch.

anyone watching this classic match............
****ing umpires cheated us

is this commentary available on iPhone?
Yes. If you download "Icar Radio" (or even "Icar Radio Lite" for free).

Go to the Sports heading within the app and go to BBC 5Live Sport Extra.

That is what I have used before. Its about 30 seconds behind because of internet streaming.

Play can go on until 7 30 pm light and weather permitting

So plenty of play possible today

What did Strauss say in his interview?
Is he happy to bat first?

Aamer has his Harmison moment. Don't think it will really affect him though...

Inconsisten start from Aamer. One Jaffa os a delivery, all others too wide
