aamir did right thing, no use of hanging around. Be aggressive, if our top-oder was aggressive, we couldve made 150 by now.
 
i swere if we picked up random gulli cricketers from the streets of pakistan they would preform better then us
 
i really dont understand the hatred and disgust here on PP. when the team was selected, we were all screaming "0-6 this summer". Where is this sudden dissappointment coming from? as i type, another one falls. england has to be THE hardest place to bat in the whole world, especially under these overcast conditions...
 
Just got back from Jummah. What do I see. Umar Amin fails again. hes really annoying me big time. Thats 10 failures on the trot since debut. Must be a world record for the most failures since debut and not being dropped. I told ya before and i told ya before send him on A tours cos hes not good enough. Its only gona get worse. even a tailender would score 1 in evry 10 innings but Umar Amin is worse than a tailender

Anderson and Broad must be loving all these cheap wickets they are getting!

I don't think anyone could condone that shot. When the chips are down, you don't go hitting shots up in the air like that. look for the fours by all means in the gaps or along the ground, that's called aggressive cricket. What Aamer did was plain stupid.

All of those batsmen can get on to good starts, and start playing comfortable. That is why they have all scored big in the past.

U.Amin never looks comfortable at the crease, he doesn't look like he's going to make a big score. He looks like he's too much under pressure all the time.

The key phrase in your post and mine was <b> depended upon for a big score </b>. While I agree one of them might score once in a while, none of them can be <b>depended</b> upon.
 
PAKISTAN are really struggling to reach even 100 runs ... these tracks aren't the most easy ones to bat on ... but the trouble is majority of scoring is being done by the lower order... what's the top order doing ??? making up the numbers ???
 
Once again I am lucky I am not watching this disaster. I think Paksitan will bat again already tomorrow.

Let us hope our bowlers blow away England for under 120. Then we will have a real match inshaAllah.
 
This, after the Australia tour, surely merits resignation from Ijaz Butt and Yawar?!

Amin is too raw I guess. He does have ability, but he's struggling on these pitches and he's probably never encountered the like before.

When he does hit a 4, he looks damn good...like a natural strokemaker.

This is turning out to b pathetic continuation of form by Galli cricketers.
I would get rid of umar amin, umar akmal n replace them with moyo n yasir hameed for next test, not sure pak will win but at least we wont b threating to break our lowest total every time we come out to bat..

Maybe you should get off your couch and go bat a few overs.
You can not expect the likes of Aamir, Gul, Ajmal, or Asif to be able to play proper cricketing shots all the time. They are bowlers who might get a swipe here or two or in the case of Gul the last match more. But to expect them to play proper cricketing strokes all the time is too much.

If you want to ***** you may do it at the top order batsmen, wait a minuite you are already doing that

then he should not be in the team. 10 failures on the trot is totally SHOCKING. Even in the asia cup in SL he failed. Need to be shown the door ASAP

Yesterday i predicted Pak will crumble for 75...My prediction is coming true.

This series will be worst than OZ last year. We actually gave some fight and scored some runs last year.

This one is really pathetic.
 
Come on pakistani bowlers - shut up these commentators. It is getting embarrassing now, actually it has been for a bit. Lets bowl England out for 60 till the end of the day.

Those 2 will perform no better than the current lot:)))
 
England will score 250-300 and Pak will crumble in 2nd innings. An innings defeat and Match over in 3 days.

The reality is that almost all the top order needs to be shown the door not just Umar Amin.

What would you say about Shoaib Malik after 10 years of international cricket

What would you say of Umar Akmal (has failed so far in england - but he is our blue-eyed boy wonder)

What would you say of three ducks in top seven

What would you say of the 23 by Amin being the top score

I am sorry when the so-called seniors Salman, Farhat, and Malik can not do their job - to expect more of the rookies and juniors is outrageous. No wonder things are the way they are as our fans think much like the PCB management
