I think it may be a good idea to have two teams, a test team and an ODI team.

Well in terms of batting absolutely. In ODIs we can risk having the agressive but technically inept batsmen such as Shahzaib, Umar Akmal and Shoaib Malik.

Bowling lineup is pretty certain though. But in this day and age we need to have a group of bowlers that we can call upon. These bowlers can't play all three formats, they just wont survive.

Agree. The bowlers can be rotated though.

Avoiding an innings defeat will at the least save some face.

But first innings batting, and dropped catches is all that will be remembered from this test match from a Pakistan perspective.

I'm very pleased with the bowling, though loss of Umar Gul could be a big blow, but we have gained Ajmal.

If only the batsmen could score even as low as 200 per innings, and it gives our bowlers a chance.....lets hope they can do so in the next couple of test matches.

My hope is for one test victory against England. They still have two more tests to try for that. That will be a good achievement for this side, a test victory over Australia and England.

Your thoughts are exactly like mine, i completely agree with your analysis. No doubt like others i too had said that match was lost in the first innings when we were skittled for 72. Had those catches been taken england would have been shot out for 140-150 and the match would have been more closer.
