We got 118/7 on the same pitch. Was expecting more from the best bowling lineup and best batting depth in world cricket.

Match isn't over yet and btw third day is a bit easier to bat on than Day 1 & 2 and remember your lower middle order inst as strong as England.
Seems like a dull draw to me.

Agreed, the pitch isn't totally flat, Steyn and Philander managed to get on top of England on Day 2. Still along way to go in the game and in the series though..........

Hashim is technically one of the most sound cricketers in world cricket. So good to watch. Specially the back foot punch.
Amazing

I really love David Gower's commentary. he has a silken brilliant voice. i honestly like hearing him more than mumbler beefy although beefy makes better points and is more anti-PC.

However 4 out of our top 5 are in the top 10 in the batting rankings. It's been anything but dull to me, and AB is still to come. He can prove to be a game changer if he's given a license to go for it.

Indeed, it's just the first match. And I wasn't being sarcastic either, I really was expecting more fight and aggression from them.

Kallis and Amla will do the Chinese water torture routine and then de villiers will drive the knife in with elegant brutality.

I cant agree with anyone who thinks this is going to fizzle to a boring draw. If the Saffers bowl like they did on day 2 and England will have to bat pretty well to save the game.

just woke up and wow.. didn't expect such a poor performance from English bowlers. Did they bowl poorly or SA batted really well?

Watching on and off, and this has been the flattest bowling I've seen in a long time. Absolutely terrible.

England have been a little lifeless with the ball. Amla, Smith and now Kallis have made very few mistakes.

In recent tours batsman who place a high value on their wicket and have a solid defensive game have prospered, Dravid and Chanderpaul. Now we are up against a team with more than 1 of these players without a helpful pitch, its a struggle.

finn would have been a better choice than Bresnan IMO.bresnan had the batting edge but finn is quicker and can get much more out of a flat pitch.

England looking increasingly rudderless. SA strolling along with Kallis getting another 50.

This match is getting a tad boring now. Amla's an immovable object, and the England bowlers have all the momentum of a paper airplane.

I have never been more bored by English bowling as I have been today. Utterly toothless. Also rather disgusted with the batsmen yesterday, as several of them had poor shots to get out and should have been doing what these guys are.

Pitch still hasn't broken at all ... means it will break on 5th day not tomorrow. That's good news for SA, bad for England. Expect ABDV to go berserk tomorrow followed by Duminy and Rudolph. SA should lose this opportunity to win this test. Must bat rapidly!!!

Declare by Lunch tomorrow.
