This series would define whether it was a good summer for England or not. If they win this series (which they will), no one will remember that England drew a series with a mediocre, 7th ranked Pakistan team. No one except Pakistani fans.

I didn't get the meaning what Sanjoy was trying to say. Pakistan played the first test in Lords where India is playing right at this moment. Was it a courteous move from ECB? Pitch isn't totally flat. A lot easier to bat on now than yesterday, yes. But England have the better bowlers to get the most out of these conditions. Still doesn't take away the fact that par would've been around 280 and Woakes, Bairstow both have played very well, while Kohli made a blunder picking the wrong Yadav.

You are not understanding where I am coming from. In 2016, Yasir got 5fers at Lord's and Oval, no bowler bowled well. He won both the matches in 2016. He was unavailable in 2018, but they still had enough to make up for it.

Whereas we are unable to make up for Bhuvi, also Kohli's decision of playing Pandya and Kuldeep is not helping either.
