India start where they left off, at 24/1.

It will be interesting how Dravid + Laxman bat this morning? will they attack or just see the ball off?

The ball is still a bit new, Anderson+Broad+Bresnan will fancy at least couple of wickets before lunch.

40 min till the action starts!

No need to attack, plenty of time left in this test match. Grinding english attack in the typical style of Rahul Dravid is the order of the day. 2.8 - 3 RPO throughout the day would be great with 4 wickets down. This is my script, lets wait what unfolds in the match:)

On this wicket, its all attack, defensive cricket won't help

Hey, we had similar type of pitch (even far worse compared to this) in 2002 and Rahul Dravid along with Sanjay Bangar grinded the english attack in the early hours and built solid platform on that.

Rahul has the technique to survive on any treacherous pitch and conditions, though Laxman needs to be an attacker of the two. Also, remember playing super attacking innings is not the forte of Rahul, so a patient innings is what I expect of him here. But, the day will tell us where India would stand in the match.

The sun has come out!

This reeks of BCCI :ibutt

This is a very experienced duo, but i feel England will try to come hard in the first session.

Nasser saying hit out, or get out.

I agree.

Dravid scored 7 runs in 15 overs. Why not just do that in 2 balls?

Swann is ok!

He will be able to bowl, he was out for an x-ray last night, no fracture just some soreness in the non-bowling hand

Manjrekar thinks DLT (Dravid, Laxman & Tendulkar) will be too much for Anderson.

Saturday story on Murali and him being no-balled.

A must watch!!

on this wicket if you hit out , you will most probabaly get out ...if we survive the first session without losing more than 1 wicket , it will get easier for later on ...not bothered at what rate we score .

Don't think any Indian player gives a monkey's to what he thinks.

Hope that England can at least take 3-4 wickets in the first session.

trying to score quickly had he got out , we would have been 4 down by now .

Don't think any Indian player gives a monkey's to what he thinks.

Probably selfish, wants to make sure he keeps his place in the side.

The brigade has arrived

Bumble - Great skill from Dravid and Laxman last night !

Finally an English with a sensible comment

Dravid is a legend when it comes to such situations.

I would suggest paying him a million bucks and make him Pakistans batting coach ( base him in Dubai and let our players train under him there)

Dravids defense is simply amazing - just the test material that you need in England

His record outside subcontinent is better than any other player from our countries. Certainly The Man !

I've seen about 100 balls that have pitched on that length and gone away.

Does no one know how to bowl inswing? :wasim :asif :waqar

Ganguly - Bhajji bowled a doosra in 1997 to Ponting :saqi

Anderson not warmed up yet. Bad over.

Laxman playing some awesome shots though.

Good delivery from Broad, damn the outswing is the worry for me

India play aggresively, and they got this match in the hand.

They do what they did yesterday, and they'll get out eventually.

Its a get out pitch, so score while you can.

Good batting from these two star batsman and poor bowling by England...

Why is Swann not there.. looking difficult for England here if no Swann here..

Another :4

Runs flowing here, 5th boundary of the morning already

England need to bowl tight here... Give Anderson rest and let Bresnan coming here..

I am liking the inswing Broad is bowling.... Need some luck here England:D

The Indian batsman are prepared to the fuller legth here. Indian batsman knew the leght.. Broad started well. Jimmy struggling here.. England now need to get the control on these batsman.. bowl a bit tighter...
