Have some context for crying out loud. "at last", "wheels coming off". India are 8 down before tea. I don't think any team in the world wouldn't have taken that at the start of play.

India will still be happy, 200 never looked possible but they still reached it.

Ishant can surely hang around for a few overs.... Dhoni needs to continue to play his shots...

India should target 250. It will be a nice score considering how pathetic thery were at 111/7.

Bresnan looking for another 5-for here

sharma Showed before that he can hang on with that innings he played with laxman Against Australia. Should do the same. Praveen is a good bat but should use his head...Good batting though!!

Err the context is obvious and had been pointed out in about 70% of the posts in this thread. As for the above comments, they are intended as light hearted and not to be taken so ridiculously seriously. Thanks.

Stupid captaincy by Strauss. Gave away 50 runs for sure by persisting with Swanny.

Bring back Broad, he will clean them up. Needs to bowl yorkers.

Bresnan to Sharma, no run, bouncer into the chest, Sharma gets tall, and fends it down, well short of Bell at short leg

Bresnan needs one more for back to back five fours.

Funny reading some of the comments on this thread. You guys (and you know who you are) do realise trhis is a test match and not a one day match? 201/8 before tea is an excellent performance from England.

Edited for clarity.

what an innings by Dhoni here. Clearly not comfortable, but showing true grit.

England still winning, but a 200 now score should make this test interesting.

Ofcourse its not. But once we where at 111/7 and now 201 for 8. so that makes it a excellent COMEBACK!!!
Look at the context of the game too...

Incorrect, 201 runs before tea is a good performance, but losing 8 wickets before tea is a real bad performance so overall not good by India. Let's be real.

England are clearly ahead and everyone knows that but apparently they're above criticism for letting that last partnership drag. Not even number one yet but the Indian traits are already starting. :21:

Erm no its not....from where india WERE it is, but not in normal circumstances

But they forgot to remembrr that England were having the bowlers to back that score. Iamnt sure about india

What are you on about? I'm probably one of the few English fans on atm, and I've been criticizing them nonstop. The rest haven't paid attention. And sky is mentioning that it is somewhat similar to the fightback by Broad and Swann, and giving a slight bit of criticism, as India was given for the 220.

Read the thread and you might understand. My post wasn't addressing you, it was in response to the few posts above acting as if people are pretending as if India are dominating just for complimenting their spirited fightback.

Finally Dhoni gets his touch, he is better off scoring quickly than trying to unnecessarily defend and build pressure on himself when his strength is attacking the bowlers.

Feel bad for Swann though, poor guy got hammered by PK too :)) I though he was worlds best spinner?

This test is taking shape like last one, hope the rest continues same except for the 'bell incident' :D

Dhoni should get a 100 here, will certainly lift the spirits :sachin

Nasser's right, Jimmy's actually bowled fairly well, moved the ball around a lot, a little unlucky.

Picking spinners seems to be pretty useless in England... They have nothing to bowl at...

Batsmen can just stand tall and hammer them at will :afridi

Ishant has to face 1 full over...

Either he gets out or block everything dead into the ground :misbah

I meant superb performance from England.
