PAK comfortably had 4/5 best ever players of spin - Hanif, Zaheer, Javed, Salim Malik, Saeed, YK, Asif Iqbal ..... and this one quality is not from playing in Counties. Now, Sarfraz is reputed best spin player and probably not much far from truth after watching Babar, Hari, Imam .....

I know all the young one are decent against pace but poor against spinner. We need to do something about these pitches quickly. All of Babar ,haris and imam are good against pace but not so much against spinners.

Generation has to be phased out and new players will replace the seniors - that's the way game develops. If domestic system can't produce that, game will face a slow death gradually.

In sports (any skill based job), it doesn't happen over night. That's a top team won't become rubbish in a year, rather it's a slow, painful death. In all time PAK squad of 16 (Test or ODI) only possible player debuting in this millennium is YK - that's just by 3 months in to 2000; which should be indicative enough.

In soccer, Hungary, Czechoslovakia, Russia, Scotland has gone through same route.

Test cricket has evolved a lot, Sarfraz is the first test cricketer to play as specialt captain. He has no other purpose in the team .

You are doing injustice to him - first he batted at 62 SR, not 42 (first innings it was 100+), so the killer instinct was there.

Key point in both innings you have missed the key point - those were double swing ball. It first moved away in air, then came back off the seem - hence for our dumb eyes, it looked like PAK Captain is castled by absolute cannon fodder straight one in both innings - that too with 30 overs old ball. But, in reality, those were unplayable balls, Sarfraz is unlucky to miss couple of jaffars.

I am not sure which purple patch you are talking about, it was all in Asia. I have not seen one innings of Sarfraz that can be considered decent good in West.
