Not really time for panic stations yet. Them Aussies always touch 125/2 and are bundled out for 280 via 180/5.
Here has come the day when Henriques is playing tests for the Australian cricket team.
We don't really have any draw cards in our team atm
52.3
Harbhajan Singh to Henriques, FOUR, short, a long hop really, Henriques pulls in a manner reminiscent of Watson, and beats the deep midwicket too
Bejesus.
I'd take Ponting over Hughes any day, he plays spin pretty well.Thank goodness Hussey retired. Wish Ponting had stayed.![]()
I gotta hand it over to Australians though.
They may be losing wickets but RR is respectable and above 3 per over.
If it was Pakistan we would be 80/5 after 60 overs.
Yeah, the fast bowlers are pretty even imo so preparing turners would definitely be the way to go..... And Cook and co made Ashwin their personal whipping boy.
Come on. How do you bat so badly as to allow him five straight wickets?
I say we make all the pitches in England dry spinners for the Ashes, and let Swanny and Monty have a go at this rate.
Bhajji still there, so 300-350 is still on.

Why didn't India select Ojha in place of Kumar or Ishant Sharma?
They should have gone for 4 spinners

He should come down the order around 6 like Michael Hussey to see off the second new ball and hit the old ball.Waste of Watson. Should be opening. Would have done much better I'm sure.
That's what you did at The Oval in 2009, and it's a much better bet than a green seamer with Anderson and Broad both averaging on the wrong side of the 30s in spite of bowling in those conditions with a new red Duke 75% of the time.
Spinners ftw.
Keep in mind you lot got flogged in the first Test. Takes a bit to acclimatise to batting here. Though Pup seems to have acclimatised pretty quickly.
No need for name calling, he's served his country well now its time for him to step aside gracefully.Yaar seriously dirtbhajan??

200 up for Aus. If they can add another 150 on top of that Aus will be in the game with a chance to stretch India.
