Ball is not spinning much for Indian spinners.

SA batsmen are just playing like Zombies. Just play aggressively and match will be theirs.

These tracks are not as bad as the ones India rolled out to England when they last toured. Cook, Pietersen were amazing in that series and showed great talent in playing the turning ball. India were humiliated by Panesar.

This track is not a 200 track like both teams showed so far. Its a 300-350 track. Its the lack of application and inability to play the turning ball shown by both teams.

Biggest blunder India made that series was not playing Jadeja. Those wickets were turners, but the pitches were extremely slow.

Panesar bowled his deliveries 95+ kph while India had no spinners to bowl that quick and utilize the spin in a more effective way. Cook and company had so much time to play spin that it didn't bother them at all.

Think they'll have enough time to start the 2nd test match immediately after this one as well.

That's the way to throw your wicket, don't know why people are crying about pitch, from what i have seen many batsmen thrown their wicket.

Bilal7 where are you? What did I say Amla bhai for a duck :amla

SA mentally so fragile :)) They should attack the bowlers rather than block block block and out. Good attack is a better defense.
Otherwise they won't even make 120.

Should learn from AB here, attack since they have no other option. Just go for it.

They are chokers only in ODIs.. Test numero one for a reason

Even Jadeja couldnt believe that Amla leave to a straight ball. The pressure probably got to him

The Amla wicket still makes me crack up, like what were you thinking? Big brain ****.

Someone needs to stay in with AB. As long as he is at the crease you never know.

This match reminds me of India-Australia match at Mumbai in 2004(although that pitch was much worse)

ABD hits another :four

AB is a master batsman. Regardless of how many he scores he has shown that he can be comfortable in such spinning conditions too.

Target was always within South Africa's grasp, but if India get AB soon, we stand a chance.

Things have eased up a bit for SA ever since ABD arrived at the crease. Runs are coming somewhat easily now.

Zaheer got the first wicket. Aus bowled out for 93 chasing 110-120. Murali Kartik, the third spinner was MOM. Still fresh in my mind.

Keep going Elgar, just rotate the strike and let AB take care of the big hitting.

Saffas only have one recognised batsman left after this pair.

I'm shocked at how Du Plessis and Amla gave away their wickets to Zulfiqar Babar-style straight balls. Beaten in their heads before the ball was bowled.

Great start,

But ball not turning YET.

ABD knows this and is doing well.

Ash has to get the ball on off stump against Elgar. Needs to bowl better. Going for runs is ok but get the line right.

Faf is not a good player of spin but Amla was unexpected.

At such a delicate stage of the match, I would hate it if my team supporters cheered for the opposition player.
What's the use of home support then?

They are only supporting AB, not SA :) Btw, scenario will go bad if AB plays a decent knock.
