Northern have insane depth.

So they win their first three matches, and NOW they introduce Mohammad Amir :))
 
The Sindh lineup is all over the place bar two or three positions.

Northern on the other hand just need to get Rohail up the order and they are set.
 
Haider vs Hasnain would be a good watch
 
Pace doesnt bother Haider much, he has ample time even against Hasnain.

Need some more youngsters I guess in T20s. Northern has been the best fielding side as well and have got many youngsters (Possibly the youngest in terms of average age).
 
Northerns are by far the best team in this Tournament - I wonder who is going to beat them this year. An imbalance draft and I believe they still have Imam & Amir in reserves.
 
Hopefully northern will continue to do well. Their approach is most suitable for modern cricket. Their consistent success will force the other teams to copy their approach in the future.

He has all the ability. All he needs is good coaches around him. 1 thing he needs to do is play on the off side. He has more thengood enough game there.
 
Man whoever is the management of Northern can we have them for the national side. They won last year as well and seem to be walking home this time too. The team assembled for Northern could even challenge international sides.
 
Haider is slogging all the balls towards leg side, needs to play more straight and towards the offside

Yes, I agree. I think most players generally prefer leg side for big hits as they can generate more power but, Haider has pretty decent game and setup to take on the off side as well. As far as its within the wickets or on leg I dont mind him playing on leg in LOIs but anything outside off stump should be played towards in early and mid of his innings atleast.
 
Haider is quite impatient by the looks of it as everytime he comes to bat he is too eager to show off and plays too many shots.

He doesn't seem to look to play a big innings just some 20's and 30's.

This ball could have been hit towards leg but, Haider misjudged the left arm angle. If a right arm pacer would have been bowling he could have been easily able to dispatch it. He is still young and learning though.
 
Haider should not play international cricket. Kid has talent but he is a leg side hack.

Northern should play Amin at #3 he won them the tournament last year.

Agreed he can play there and needs to play on off side. Today asghar kept bowling outside off and he kept missing manily due to the fact he wanted to hit it on leg.

The ideology of Northern management is spot on. They send their young bats up the order to play freely without any pressure, if they fail and pressure builds then they have Amin and Asif in middle order who should be able to soak the pressure.

No doubt the youngsters at top are thriving under this management. One change I would make when Imad is back is to drop Ali Imran and make Rohail open the innings.

After his 50 vs England I said he might end up like Umar akmal and now it looks like he’s gone down that route.
 
I do not know if everyone noticed that Haider has been trying to play all the balls towards the leg side. Also when he was bowled outside the offstump he ended up playing dot balls. In PSL, he was playing all over the ground but since that he has not shown his off side game.

His cover drives were featured by ICC as the best cricketing shots of the Under 19 world cup. It's not that he is limited, it's that his T20 game is more on-side based because that's where his power-hitting arc is. He needs to play more so that he realizes his full potential as a batsman and plays in the V as well as uses his off-side game.

Muhammad Wasim is head and shoulders above Misbah and it'd be amazing to see him as the next coach of Pakistan.

Hope this happens sooner rather than later.

Just hope he doesn’t get the golden boy treatment like Shadab does.

Do nothing at the domestic level, but get selected for every format internationally.
 
Haider dismissed afridi style. This format can sometimes hurt ur game if ur not smart enough

Lets hope not. Plus he doesnt have attitude like umer akmal. Could be that in t20 he plays like this.
 
Zeeshan's first decent knock is what I would call that comparatively to what his T20 stats indicate.

Thats the main thing and the guy wants to improve. His legside which everybody is talking about was non existent in U19 WC, where most of his good shots were on offside. He might have had it in him but, he worked upon it and polished it to deliver with them at this level.

To be honest even the best batsmen look like going that route in T20s. Its the format in which you have to take risks. He has shown different sides of his game in 4 day cricket as well. He is still young so too early to judge but he surely has the potential. Umer Akmal’s career issues were due to his temperament and attitude issues and wrong shot selection was just a small reflection of his other issues.

Haider looks like a keen learner. He is going to make mistakes in his career like any young player but as far as his attitude and temperament is fine he should be ok.
 
Pathetic from M. Wasim to play Rohail Nazir at 8. All the good work undone due to this decision
 
Whenever I see Amin bat, I'm perplexed as to why he wasn't managed well under any PCB management.

Yeah exactly. I think in t20s he favors leg side which is fine. What I think is that in odis if given a go against Zimbabwe we will see more of his range. I have no problem of him favouring leg side as along as hes just not thinking of that specific area every ball.

Much much better over from Amir. Only two runs from which is pretty good in powerplay.
 
Good batting from Azam Khan. Two consecutive sixes to Shadab
 
azam khan is an effortless six hitter, if he can improve his technical game he could be a useful player. needs to keep losing weight though.
 
Excellent delivery by Shadab. Inviting the new batsman to go for it and got him out
 
One observation from this game has been lack of fitness level of Zeeshan Malik.

Zeeshan pulled his hamstring when running for a double with Shadab, having said that it was a straight forward double. I would like to see Wasim to work closely on fitness of these young players.

I need the young players to respect the game and especially the fitness requirements if they would like to represent Pakistan internationally.

Since last two years, Sarfraz's batting form has been really mediocre and tbh he is being outplayed by all the wicket-keeper batsmen in the current T20 cup. It is time we understand that respect and love never dies for people who achieved like he did but in the team players come and go based on their performances. He has an obvious way to make a comeback through good performances in the PSL. Fans need to understand that because Rizwan has also been getting unjustifiable hate from Sarfraz's fans which is quite sad especially since Sarfraz seems a humble guy.
 
Amir has been very poor, but it's the norm for him these days.

It's time for Sindh to rest him and give the gloves to Azam Khan. Swap in Hasan Mohsin from the second 11 with Ahsan Ali.

Play Saud in the top order with Azam at 4.

Enough of handing out favors to past their sell-by-date players.

Well bar Balochistan each team is primarily composed of local players, and that's the best talent available in Sindh at the moment.

Not sure if there's anyone better in 2nd XI for T20 format. Maybe Hasan Mohsin could come in.

Atleast central punjab are trying young batsmen they are not doing that
