1st win for Southern Punjab hopefully. They’ve been punching below their weight so far, losing games they had in the bag, while Balochistan has been punching above its weight.

Both are mediacore teams so it will be a interesting match i reckon:smith

Baluchistan were handed an inferior team compared to the rest so I’m backing Baluchistan to beat the odds.

Shan needs to figure out who amongst his bowlers is best suited for death bowling. Also disappointed to see him leave aamir yamin and umer khan out. Got to back the talent

Shan
Zeeshan
Talat
Saif
Maqsood
Khushdil
Yamin
Umer Khan
Zahid
Ali Shafique
Irfan

Pls tell me this ain't the best team SP can play?

Balochistan won the toss and elected to bat first

Balochistan is playing with 10 players, Imam ul haq playing for Southern Punjab lol

Saif Badar should blame nobody but himself.

He should have won the last match for his team.

Pleasantly surprised by the improved camera work and picture quality of the live stream on Pakistan cricket youtube channel. Well done!

Who is this guy with the fake American accent??[/QUOTE
Shoaib Mohammad's son. He is actually pretty good. Knows about the game and provides solid insights about player's training, fitness and the mental process.

Hussain Talat should give up his bowling completely and focus on his batting. He is a very poor bowler and will never be considered a proper alrounder.

Imam should aim for a 100 now. Lots of time left, well set, and already used up 45 balls. Can easily be achievable if he starts going at a 180 Strike Rate.

Pakistani bowling which is supposed to be our strength has been terrible in this tournament. No young bowler has been impressive. No variation, no yorkers, and no spin. From what I have seen in this tournament, it is safe to say our batting is stronger than our bowling.

Southern Punjab are getting what they asked for by selecting a powderpuff bowling attack.

Harris Sohail like Mohd Amir could have achieved a lot more for Pakistan, both highly talented and beautiful to watch when on song.

Still believe there's a player there. Hope Haris has a big QEA Trophy for Balochistan.

Yes he is a good addition provides lots of insight, good voice, and does not repeat same common lines like others.

I think Akif, Sohaibullah, Haris Rauf, Musa, Amad Butt have been pretty decent considering the surfaces and outfields on offer.

There are few other young bowlers who either playing in 2nd xi or havent gotten a game till now.

My god, have Pakistai bowlers forgotten how to bowl yorkers at the death ?

Seen so many full tosses from attempted yorkers in this tournament. And another one from Bhatti as I type !

Bilawal and Hussain T have been rubbish more often than not. Cannot believe Yamin not playing.

Mohammad Imran, 23 year old fast bowler with a good action was second highest wicket taker in 2nd xi national T20 cup last year with avg of 14 but SP management thought Bhatti and co will win them the tournament. Imran, Dilbar and Zia Ul Haq all 3 could have been good replacements considering how it has been going. Not sure in national T20 if they are allowed to change the main squad.

Umer Khan overruns in the deep, a single turns into a boundary.

Shambolic from SP.

All 3 should have been in the first XI not 2nd Xi.

South Punjab's bowling is a lost case. No idea why Hussain Talat and Bilawal Bhatti are bowling in the death. Umar Khan as a spinner has also regressed. Rahat was never a T20 bowler and will be effective only with new ball. Only Irfan and Zahid make sense as T20 bowlers with Irfan nearing the end of career too.

I still remember massacre in NZ which Bhatti faced led by Mccullam when he completely forgot his lenghts and rightfully so got dropped from Pak squad in future.

I know Abdul Rehman had some success with Peshawar back in the day, but I'm sorry this has been a woeful National T20 for them.

Tried to copy Multan Sultans formula, but without the overseas players.

Didn't Bilawal Bhatti refuse to sign the domestic cricket contract? Well, this may be his last domestic cricket match given the absolute massacre right now.

I think Maxwell hit Bhatti for 30 runs in one over in the T20 World Cup. We won the match in the end though but that was kinda the end of Bhatti's international career.

The most un-pakistani thing about Imam is his love to play a long innings, this is a hallmark of a great player.

The fact that he is a opener further makes this a credible attribute.

The conversion rate of Imam is astounding. Imam is definitely a player who should play ODIs and test cricket. We need someone who doesn't waste an opportunity when he gets in. Having said that I wouldn't want Imam to work under Misbah, that would not lead to his development and this current period is his development period.

I dont think Bilawal should get even one more game after this. He has been horrible!

Those guys haven been good. But I was expecting a lot more from others. No one has looked very special. Where are the yorkers, googlies, swing or even decent line and length? And I know the short boundaries has played a very negative role.

Yes had quite a few core players from MS but missed few key overseas as well as local players to form the same impact. Sohail Tanvir was a key bowler for MS who even at this age with all his T20 experience is 10 times the bowler in the format than Bhatti and Rahat Ali, he had economy of 6.80 which was the best amongst top pacers in PSL. Also in terms of all rounders they could have drafted in Agha Salman after Yamin’s fitness issues and him and Talat could have shared overs. So number of mistakes from SP.

I think SP was too fast to drop Ilyas after the first match and then too replace him with Bhatti out of all. Ali Shafiq is an option from the squad and is a decent pacer with good lines and intelligence.

Umer Gul with first wicket in his last tournament

Umar Gul to clever and experienced, great slower ball to bait that false shot out of ashraf.

Titan24 Akif has been slightly disappointing in this tournament so far, been on the expensive side and haven't really swung the ball as much as last year.

Really like him as he seemed to have good bowling intelligence for such a young age.

I agree. His first spell with new ball has been off radar till now in the tournament. He has been coming back well in later part though. Bowled a really good 2nd last over vs Sindh when Sindh had the momentum from Butt’s over, got Anwer Ali out who was playing at 20 off 10 and potentially changed the match for his side and ended with 2/32.

Still a lot to learn and hopefully with 4day matches this season he will learn to be consistantly in the good areas in different spells with different ball conditions.

Sp went with 5 specialist bowlers so they are a batsman short as well.

Even if they played 11 batsmen yet they couldn't chase this

Pretty much. For them to chase 200 plus would mean either Zeeshan, Maqsood or Khushdil to play a blinder. Maqsood clicked yesterday and even after that some of their batsmen couldnt finish it. Khushdil’s runout was the game changer I think.

Butt with wicket of Maqsood. Things falling apart big time for SP. Khushdil and Talat will have to do something to allow them to have an outside chance or even a respectable defeat.

Guys hows the production and camera 📷 work now? Do u feel they have improved???

Misbah is dangerous for everybody every player baring Shafiq Malik

Amad Butt has a knack of making breakthroughs.

Pretty good bowler to have for middle overs in LOIs with him hitting good areas more often than not. He can ball decent yorkers and does have slower balls but sometimes execution at the death isnt great. I think he deserves a go in LOIs for his bowling and hit hitting ability, fielding and fitness is a bonus. He was pretty close I think but then again some death over struggles in PSL 2020 prevented that I think.
