Is MQM retarded? People winning by x-0 margins, all candidates having exactly even votes. Why the hell are they making it so obvious?

Because they know it won't have any consequence. If there is a fair election in Karachi, MQM will lose a lot of votes and PTI (and PPP) will gain a lot. Not in the interest of the new government.

The only way there could be a re-election in Karachi is if Army wants to take control of the country. In which case MQM could parade as a victim once again.

So PTI failed to make a counter strategy to stop rigging.PTI is not violent like PML-N but atleast we could have manged with some rigging proofs to use it later for disqualification but PTI failed in this regard.

We were too sweet for anyones liking. Asking people to report rigging through facebook or send videos or make calls. It doesn't work like this in Pakistan unfortunately.

There is not that much rigging in Punjab. Most of it happens in municipal elections. In parliamentary ones, you could have the odd case of people showing up with kalachnikovs to close down a polling station or votes already cast without physical presence, but most electables have enough influence to prevent eachother from doing it. As opposed to interior Sindh and Karachi.

Karachi was comically rigged. Number two candidate having 0 votes, winning votes always being in multiples of 1000(ege 170,000 or 50,000). Its almost like a message to media and every Karachiite about their power and influence.

MQM may have won the seats on paper but they have lost large tracts of support among Karachiites in the middle class areas
