In the match in which Hanif got his 337 (at Barbados incidently the same venue as this test match:D )

Pakistan inns lasted for 319 overs and we were still not bowled out Kardar declared the inns at 657-8.

If he's trying to get 200 then he's quite selfish. Oh well who are we to complain!!!

If ever Afridi has dreamed of a test double (like an Odi double)
this is the moment for it
 
I don't exactly have any major qualms with Pak bowling... let's just hope our batsmen put up a fight. I don't expect to win but wanna see the team go down with some dignity.
 
lol guy on Sky Sports just said that thing could change if Afridi gets one of his characteristic hundreds off 60 odd balls.... thats a bit slow for Afridi i reckon.
 
we need double hundreds frm Younis , Afridi and Kamal

to surpass the WI score by quite some margin
 
Heres something to think about, no body in the history of the game has successfully chased down such a huge target, infact nobody has got even chased 150-200 runs below what they scored but then again not many times do teams even get a chance to chase a a score that big with 7 sessions left. I think we should go for a draw.
 
I would prefer a quick and painful one. If we have to loose, loose if fast so that fans can do other things.

if we play out till the end of day 5 thn we will win the game even if our intention is just to play out time

this is because the req rate is very small (2.78 rpo)

I think you must be correct. I do not see Afridi opening at this state of the match.

we need a gud start to bring some sort of a confidence back in our camp
 
Afridi underbowled yet again - why wasn't he given a longer shot at the tail? Not only his figures, but his danger suggests he should have been bowling at them
 
So they went for experience in the middle order, lets hope these two can put on a lot of runs!

Yeah Bob said he dropped him by the end of the Austrlia tour because he was dropping catches, not scoring and just failing under pressure.
 
wheres shoaib akhtar when you need him. it could have been him ripping throgh the windies with his pace. in tests i think he should be a definate
 
they could look at this as a pressure situation or look at it as a good situation. There is no pressure to score, if its a maiden, it doesn't matter, get a few runs thats fine too.
 
inzi got one seried drawn against india somehow where evryone played out of its skin he started thinking Akhtar is dispensable..... too bad

Edwars is walking off the ground. Thats why he hasn't struck thunder before, you can think of him as an Akthar, always struggling with injuries, already has 3 5 wicket hauls but has a histroy of getting injured. He was the reson we failed in the first innings though with his 5 wicket haul.
 
He has struck before comma, though only in sporadic bursts - not a great series Vs SA but had a lethal debut VS Sri lanka and against england he shattered a few defences

in the SA series Edwards clocked at least 96.2mph (the fastest i've seen from him)
 
Hameed's fault there. Brings back memories of Rawalpindi past year 2004 in the 2nd ODI against India when Yasir was run out not responding to a call from Inzi
 
this is a pathtic display by pakistan to be honest what have you all made of younis as captain? i think he has made a few poor desicions in the match i feel he should have probably given longer spells to afridi and he didnt use rana well either and he didnt exactly lead by example with the bat plus he droped lara aswell
 
Run out was Yasir Hameed's fault. Hit the ball, then ran down the pitch before cnaging his mind but by then Younis Khan was committed to the run, and that was that.

What a cock-up.
