The fact that you think a player is fraud simply because Misbah advocated for him, without taking into account their performances, level of skill or what they did to get into the side shows exactly how well you understand cricket.

But hey then again, you thought Shaun Pollock was a tailender so maybe I shouldn't be that surprised.

Am not watching the match, I never said I'm leaving a thread. I turned off the tv a while ago as I am not interested in watching a boring match

I do agree to some extent.

Abdullah hit 113 (103) against Lanka when we needed to chase 345. However, Abdullah started that innings soooo slowly at one point he was 25 (35) and put a lot of pressure on the people around him.

That was probably the only time though that he showed a bit of mental resilience.

My issue is Abdullah is that he ALWAYS starts really slowly and puts pressure on the players who bat with him. He only accelerates after he gets to 50. And if he gets out in the 20's or 30's then it is a complete waste of an innings.

I would prefer a Fakhar - Ayub opening partnership any day

Abdullah is one of the worst openers I've seen. He is not the worst as pakistan has had jamshed's, Farhats, Shehzad's. But he is a failure.

People have forgotten about his gand in tests, His horrible performance in List A and his golden 4 ducks in a row in t20.

I also don't get why his nickname is technique when his technique is TERRIBLE
 
I suppose the only negative from this tour is Pakistan batting middle order was never tested barring 1st match.

The other potential negative is we barely know how our 5th bowling option will pan out.

Saim is a positive.

Not convinced on Abdullah.

Babar and Rizwan are still useless as they come.

The 4 fast bowlers did extremely well, though.

His technique is fine, he has decent footwork and a good grip strength.

His reactions suck followed by the fact that he has limited stroke play. Oh and he's a mental midget as well.

You are wrong, that was fault of Rizwan and bowlers taking wickets was purely basis bowlers skill.

He fishes too much outside the off stump and is vulnerable to the ball that nips back in

He has a lovely flick shot through mid-wicket and a nice cover-drive. But I think he is vulnerable AF to basic length bowling
 
Dr bassim is the only poster besides myself who's present here atm and is actually dropping truth bombs.

Lmao at Abdullah and Rizwan being good players for pakistan.

Saim ayub + the form of the bowling unit is the only positives that have come from this series.

Shocking level of performance by Australia this series. Almost feels like the teams have swapped jerseys here.
 
The way Pakistan team has played and dominated the Aussies is just excellent. I would have never thought something like this could happen.

Full credit goes to players and team management and rizwan's brilliant captaincy.The bowling changes field placements everything has been perfect.
May Pakistan keep winning series and hopefully tournaments as well.

If you read my posts before this series I even said you're clearly seeing something that I haven't seen. And I now see it 🤣🤣.
 
Australia team in first 2 games only had Marsh and Head missing, so none of these excuses of B, C, D teams. Pakistan had Fakhar missing and dropped some permanent players too. Add to that Pakistan is playing away in Australia, where they alway lose, and had no warm up games. So some posters should be gracious and give credit where it's due. Team played well and was led perfectly.

I’m quite upset that Australia hasn’t fielded their full strength team throughout the series. While it’s great that we are winning the series but it could give us a false sense of security, only to be exposed in the CT25. It feels a bit disappointing Australia is resting players in preparation for the India test instead.
 
What a turn around for team Pakistan in last few weeks congratulations on a series victory in Aus
