What the hell was Afridi doing!?

He was batting alongside BUTT!

They could have comfortably made a nice, long, 100 run partnership.
 
afridi should bowl seam bowling .......damn why is he reserving himself as just only captain. He should inspire others ..and also should bat at no3 ....otherwise match gone.

Problem is, even if it does, there's pretty much no way Pak will score 250-300 runs to win, and I don't see them surviving either.

Maybe rain will save them.
 
the bowlers heads must be down once again after a very poor show with the bat. The bowlers are probably thinking whats the point of toiling away busting ur guts out when players like afridi just gift their wicket away. Why on earth do they persist with farthead. Time and again he fails to deliver. This surely must be his last test

Kaneria is still bowling a bit quicker.Needs to give it a bit more flight...round about 51 mps would be very good....

I don't think he thought he could survive very long defending, so he decided to go all out attack, and once that was successful, he got carried away instead of settling down like he did in those two recent ODI innings.

This innings from Afridi might cause some issues in the Pak camp. It was an extremely ill advised batting display by a captain in a very crucial stage in the match. Hard to command your players respect when you play like that and gift your wicket.
 
When we come out to bat Afridi should just come out at number three position.

He needs to talk responsibilty as captain.

Had him edged out in the same delivery that allowed Watson to score 4 runs.

Gone. What a smart bowler Asif is.

Farhat gets a wicket [For Pakistan, the wicket should be awarded to the one who catches the ball].
 
One thing I don't understand though is why can't Afridi tell Gul to bowl consecutive yorkers.

Just keep bowling yorkers and one of them will get through the bat.

It is never too late in Test format. Expect the unexpected from Pakistan in last inning. :)
 
If Australia declare now they will still win easily shows how bad the batting line up is
 
this is sheer injustice to bowlers of pakistan ... our batsman hardly ever support are bowlers... if not lead .. atleast they would have made 250.... it was not that unplayable wicket to bat on :p ... WATSON take a 5fer... come on :p
