Now, had ENG dropped Jimmy & picked Bopara, still could have got some runs from the tail to save this match.............

You would have dropped a bowler who averaged 15.6 for the series?

What the hell sarfraz control yourself

42 runs & 3/164 after Moeen Bhai's 36 & 3/121 - nice similarity. You get 11, sorry 10 like those & a WK like Bairstow, you 'll have a fabulous Test team.

Still posting these clueless comments I see suggesting England should drop players simply because they can bat when there's no notably better bowlers around.

Hopefully Shah takes a fifer here.

Fun times when the only competition in the game is between your own bowlers, lol.

I woke up 30 mins late, match was already [emoji851][emoji851][emoji851] - top that with Beefy in the box [emoji108][emoji108][emoji108]

Pakistan is all over them. We knew this wicket is very tough.

They nearly won the first test and nearly drew the second so I am proud of they way they fought.

But England currently have about seven test-class cricketers, and only four or five are playing in this match. The rest are bitsas like Moeen and Bairstow, or not ready like Adil and Buttler.

Don't get me wrong bro, I know what you mean; you should also understand what I mean:19:

This is stupidity of the highest order to put a team like this & believe that these spinners are going to do anything against PAK batsmen. In one sense, Botham is correct - PAK indeed was confused, if not scared of Adil, other wise; 3-0 was written on the series had PAK gone for turners. I watched 2/3 ODIs last summer & thought that Adil is probably at per with our Zubair, PAK THICK Tank thought he was at per with Warne.

Anyway, any thought of team for SAF? This bits & pieces formula is not going to work. Fortunately for ENG, the wickets 'll be more favorable to their attack. What about this team
Cook, a specialist Opener, may be Balance
Bell (I still think, he 'll come good in SAF), Root, Taylor
Moeen, Stokes
2 of Wood/Berbi/Finn, Jimmy &
a WK.

The key take here is, the WK might bat at 11, but a proper one.

What do you think?

Read my comment below in response to Roberts, you should notice lots of clue.

Picking a specialist wicketkeeper is outdated now in international cricket and not going to happen realistically. I'd be going :

Cook
Hales
Taylor
Root
Bell
Stokes
Bairstow
Ali/Rashid (Given he probably won't be used much in the first innings in SA it may be worth going with Rashid)
Broad
Wood
Anderson

Bell just about sticks around for now but there should be able replacements in the squad.

Botham taking a dig at Australia and dissing them.
While two umpires (and their nationalities of Australia and New Zealand respectively) were shown on screen Botham said "difference between Australia and New Zealand is, you would find sharks in water and snakes and dangerous creatures on land, you won't find any of that in New Zealand"

Hopefully Stokes comes out to bat so we can get another wicket.

Would be the height of Poetic justice if an edge off his bat carries to Misbah at slip.

And Aus produces better players as they are 352/2 atm.

I dont see him risking his injury in current situation would be stupid.

Excellent team, only I 'll drop Bairstow & play a proper WK - Read or Foster are probably too old now; what about Simpson or Alex Davis?

Partnership looking dangerous. Can't let them go past 130.

should not relax these two can easily have a 100+ stand with Broad and Stokes to come.

Who wants it? Fresh English wickets, come get it. Who wants it? Get your fresh English wickets right here.

Rashid bats like a sub cont top 5 batsman cant relax till these 2 are here.

Zulfiqar fielding is embarrassing

Just goes to show what a bit of mental application can achieve.

If only this level of batting intelligence had been shown 2 or 3 wickets down!

Right now they are relaxed, since mental pressure of wining is no more there. It's not like they are thriving, because wicket can come any moment. Mental pressure is lot more when you are in the game.

This is difficult wicket, Pakistanis are some what relaxed in last 30 minutes or so, could have got one more if intensity was up. Too many wickets too early has that effect.

You're in the driving seat again. This pair can chase it down.
