What did Zafar Gohar do honestly? The amount of turn he was getting he was still getting hit around by the batsmen. I call that pathetic bowling rather than anything else.
Yasit wouldn't've have wasted the turn he got like zafar did.
He is a moeen Ali level bowlerr at best.
Imad wasim is much more superior to him and will displace both Zafar and Yasir once he comes in.
So, because I have been away from PP for a bit, can I have a rundown of the eleven players who are being unfairly kept out of the team.
It was his first game. And he was the best bowler on show.
On flat UAE wickets???? I dont think so. Usually teams keep utility bowlers.
England has almost all bowlers bowling at Anwar Ali pace so why isnt it an issue for them.
The fact is the management knows in these pitches it is better to keep a tall batting order than a tall bowling order. Because batting generally wins you games on flat tracks.
Plus we have the worst tail in the world.
Who will be the sixth bowler? I think Azhar Ali will show his talent with the ball today
But he was still easy pickings for England. Saw all his overs. If the pitch wasn't spinning there was no way he would cause any damage.
Would prefer Imad Wasim over him any day.
Really don't think bowling is the issue. It the batting. Modern odi teams should be able to chase/put up scores of 250+ regularly.Irfan has been the only good fast bowler in this series so far and that speaks volumes about our OD bowling.
I think Babar is a better part-timer but I don't see him being used.
Do you think our intelligent management and kaptaan know this?

Some excellent fielding by Pakistan during this match

Man, how far has Pakistan fallen out of grace since that Aane do series in India? I think 2011-2013 was the best period of Pakistani bowling. Inform Ajmal, Junaid, Hafeez, Gul were a formidable and devastating bowling attack. Even India wasn't able to score 200 against Ajmal and Co, they used to defend a mediocre sub 200 score on consistent basis. Now look at them, absolutely pathetic and clueless bowling with no venom or bite, just plain garbage being thrown and dispatched to the boundaries.
Anwar needs to do some magic with the ball, otherwise sooner he won't be the part of team.
We are a very good fielding side now and some of the younger guys are excellent.
Only Irfan and Wahab (sometimes good and sometimes bad) are the weak links.

Wahab is good in field, but yes no question about Irfan.
Difference in pitches and conditions. That was a good attack, however, but the difference is not so huge.
England batsman must be feeling a sense of easyNess after seeing Zafar in stands instead of bowling to them...
No, I think they know maths better than we do. He went for plenty.England batsman must be feeling a sense of easyNess after seeing Zafar in stands instead of bowling to them...
Yea his height at 5'4 was a menacing presence.
His knee height pies gave us sleepless nights.
Either live with it or deal with it![]()
Or they don't know talent.![]()
Roy has been lucky.
Its actually sad to see them struggling to take wickets in these conditions which suit them the most. The quality of bowling has gone down the toilet over the years, they used to be a formidable bowling force to be reckoned with in world cricket but now look at them, extremely incompetent, inferior and limited interms of talent and skill. Sad state of affairs and worrying times for Pakistani bowlers, their legacy of producing quality bowlers is under severe threat, not too long from now, Pakistani bowling reservoirs will run out and people around the world won't remember Pakistan for their bowling talent. India has a much better attack allround.
they did however bought Imad Wasim, i don't mind
But they bought the likes of Jamshed and Shahzaib Hasan who by no means deserve to be bought ahead of other players.
People used to tune in for Pakistan's bowling rather than batting, it was pure pleasure and delight seeing the mastery and magic at work but now its the other way around.
I was watching the highlights of a odi when England toured Pakistan in 2005...One thing I noticed is that someone like Rana Naved who used to get flak a lot of the times would beat our current "geniune" allrounder Anwar Ali hands down
Rana was a gem compared to Anwar. Poor fielder but had more bowling variety than Anwar can imagine, not to mention a better batting technique that didn't involve random wrist flicking.
Our record in the UAE over the past 3 years is only better than our record in England (lost 3/3 in CT 2013). Hardly suitable conditions when the team struggles like nobody's business.
