WI bowling first.

Must be a sigh of relief for the 'not-too-good-at-chasing', particularly in must win games team.

Dekock has 10 100's already :O in just 60 matches

Even more surprising is still averages just over 40

Looks like it will be one of those games....SA will be at a healthy RR of 5 or 5.5 till 30 odd overs and than suddenly AB assault will take them closer or above to 400 and then WI will fold for 150 in 35 overs.

All too familiar seen it many times

His first 13 games had 1 50+ score.

Later there was a 4 month period where he played 10 matches and only scored 1 50+ scores. Most of the others were single digits.

And there was a another 11 month period where he played 14 matches with only 1 50+ score and the mostly single digit scores. That is why it is so low.

It averaged out to 42.

Absolutely frenetic scoring rate from Hashim Amla here.

71 off 55, mustn't throw it away now.

Brother is at the game, hopefully takes some pics. He was given a pair of tickets by a player.

Good for Pak's WC chances, what's wrong with DeKock? He's looking like Barrington compared to Amla.

No daddy hundred for Amla. look like SA will have 3 centurions today (If abd fires!)

take out 4 overs from Narine who looks off color today anyways and you have absolute massacre waiting on the cards

It may end like last two matches. A brilliant partnership upfront that has set for 300+ but poor finishing means they end with 20-30 runs short!

Today's match showed everyone why Amla is a cut above any other ODI opener in the world today. Sure, on a flat pitch they can all hammer some trundlers into the ground but when the pitch is difficult and the bowlers bowl well, only Amla can truly thrive. De Kock was struggling to maintain a SR of 60 while Amla was striking at 120-130 without breaking a sweat, for the majority of their partnership.

23 centuries, 30 fifties, at a SR of 89, with an average of 52 is phenomenal stuff for an opener. All this despite only playing 130 matches. :amla

SA always produces great allrounders. Morris is the latest. He can do it all.

Even WI have decent allrounders. Pollard, Brathwaite etc.

It is such a luxury to have a fast bowling allrounder.

Pollard, Braithwaite and even Russell.

5.5
Rabada to Charles, SIX , rising short ball on off, hustles on at 146ks, Charles is late on the hook but top-edges a six over fine leg

WI hacking on their way. Will be interesting how they approach spinners!
