Venue of the Famous world record Chase in Last series. Will S.A hand Aussies another 4-1 thrashing or will Aussies get some pride back!

S.A home record in ODIs is simply Awesome. They have a postive overall record against all nations apart from against Aussies which stands at 16 Wins, 17 losses.

173 ODIs - 124 wins (72%) 40 lost (23%) 3 Ties and 6 N/R

A 72% Wins record is just phenominal!

In Bilateral ODI series in S.A the Aussies are only nation to win a series there! It really is a formidiable place to go!

Australia is also the only country that SA does not have an overall positive record over.

Anyone know if South Africa are playing their strongest squad or will they give a chance to some other players.

Botha and parnell out. M Morkel and ntini in.

Pretty much strengthens the S.A side!

I think it is a way to test where these 2 are at the moment. The WC (pyjama 1) is around the corner and saffers do not play much cricket till then.

S.A win toss and put Aussies in.

Can Aussies score 400+ ?? Would be fun!

We would chase it down with 2 overs to spare :D

Aus 37/0 after 6 overs...

Haddin has been one of the few sucesses for Aussies in this series!

Aussies should be looking at atleast 300-50 here!

47/0 at moment!

After 10 overs Clarke and Haddin have identical stats!

Batsmen Runs B 4s 6s SR This bowler Last 5 ovs Mat Runs Ave
*MJ Clarke (rhb) 35 30 5 0 116.66 4 (4b) 20 (14b) 151 4410 41.60
BJ Haddin (rhb) 35 30 5 0 116.66 1 (2b) 23 (16b) 48 1353 33.82

You might be onto something....

S.A trying to stem flow with slow bowlers, this is where aussies have struggled all series!

Struggling to understand the SA accent here...but

Haddin's OUT (62)!

127-1 off 19.1

As happens so many many times, the opening partner is gone so soon after the partnership was broken.

138-2 Clarke caught by Duminy

Pointing needs to impose himself he! Hes been poor all series and looked pretty negative when hes come out to bat!

Another wicket and yet again the Aussies struggling against spin!

This mid over slump Aussies keep having could pretty much cost them another game!

Fergurson has come out and been postive.

20 off 16 balls, Punter going along pretty slow as usual in this series!

223-4

Ponting goes for 40 - was getting a bit cocky!

De Villiers drops Hussey 1st ball

223-4 off 37 overs

Aussies collapsing spectacularly! AGAIN!

What a run out by AB Devilliers!

238-6 off 39 overs.

Hopes has lost all....

Embarrasing stuff from Aus

Johnson c&b Duminy

246-7 off 40.5 overs

What a joke performance this is from the Aussies.

They should have got 300-50 here with ease! Some very poor cricket indeed!

The Aussies have messed up. From a good position, they have thrown it away and are in the process of being bowled out within the allotted 50 overs.

that ball hit the ground. absolutey mind boggling how the replay judge didnt even give that out.... i am shocked.

I can see S.A chasing this down with ease later on....!

Aussies messed up big time here. Haddin and Clarke were crusing but as soon as the bowler delivered it in the right area, Haddin got out. Then there was the spin involed again. van der Merwe, and Duminy doing a lot of the damage.

Australia's middle order woes continue not that their top order is in supreme form.

IM NOT YOU said:

I just saw it in real time - and Duminy claimed it

264-7 off 46 overs.

Hussey and Hauritz playing really slowly.

it hit his upper palm then fingers then it grounded for a mili-second before hitting his fingers again and goign into his palm. you have to look at it very sharply and take several views. it , without any doubt in my mind, hit the ground. duminy did a job hiding that. he maybe wasnt even aware as he was in the process of rolling. that ball hit the ground.

S.A spinners went for 90 runs in 20 overs and took 5 wickets.

Thats one again were Aussies have struggled!

303-7 off 50 overs.

Good final over for the Aussies. Don't know if it's enough. I reckon their about 40-50 short. We shall see when the South Africans bat.

Great stuff from Smith and gibbs.. i think they'l chase this one down

6666666666 to Kallis over square leg.. wicket hasn't affected the run rate

MJ looks like he's really in need of a rest. I would hate for this bloke to break down prior to the Ashes.

300 on this wicket, outfield etc... looks way below par.

S.A should romp home here!

S.A 76/1 after 14 overs.

Doing well at moment.

We're about 100 runs too short on this wicket

@#$%%^ useless Haddin :69:

19.2 Hauritz to Gibbs, no run, missed stumping, landed on a good length outside off, drew Gibbs out of his crease as he tries to play it into the off side, misses as the ball doesn't turn, Haddin fails to collect it cleanly as it bounces off his gloves back onto the pitch

Gibbs goes past 50* and is looking in prime form!

SA looking rock solid.

138-1 off 25 overs

Need 166 to win from 25 overs

2 lives now. Gibbs is destined to make 200

26.4 Hopes to Gibbs, 1 run, almost caught, a stunning effort from Laughlin at fine leg as Gibbs attempts a pull and it flies off the top edge, he catches it right at the edge and throws it back in just as he realises he is tripping backwards, saved five runs there, Gibbs though, survives

And Gibbs's luck runs out. He cowlashes one too many and is plumb lbw for 82

SA are pushing on, now 2/174

Kallis gone now!

188/3 and game in balance but S.A still have loads of battin to come!

Annoying female commentator tells me a wicket has fallen

JPD!

SA: 191-4

Duminy falls to MJ and Aussies have a glimour of hope!

If we can somehow drop either Alby or AB we have a chance.

James Hopeless must have naked pics of the selectors in compromising positions. I can't think of any other reason why they keep persevering with him when he's useless!

SA losing their way - need 2 big overs (or 2 quick wkts) to decide the outcome of this one

Albie caught on the square leg boundary - great catch mm from being a six!

226-6

78 off 52 balls

Aus will win from here - no question

Game over for me.

AB De V is gone

What a collapse!

SA 7 down.
