Sa doing exactly what I expected they are feeding sub cont style pattas for this series come the main tour it will be a totally different ball game.

Right, last I checked you were the pitch curator in SA...

27 overs 178-1!

India A seems to be better than Indian team.. Although both are effectively same

Beastly stuff from Dhawan again, easy centrury!

Can India post between 350 and 400?

Rusty Theron seems quite rusty out there, Going at just below 10 an over.

Oh dear...Pujara murdering them.
If he stays for 50 overs, he will score 250. :)

The top three for India today are effectively the top 3 for test series in December..

SA knows this tour has been orgainzed to get Indian batsman use to SA conditions test series wins are very important for SA especially since they are #1 in the world there is no way they will allow India any kind of head start before the tour later this year.

Dhawan has gone past his highest score, batting at 158* now

Are these matches really being played in SA? SA are giving Indian batsmen a false hope for the tour ahead.

At this rate India will make 380+

Drinks, SA need some speciall drink

There is no reason to drop Vijay for tests.. He scored two massive hundreds against Aussies..

don't think he will last long against steyn and philly, plus gambo is a lefty which will help us against steyn.gambhir din't do too badly the last time we toured.

The winner will qualify for the final against Aus A, so it isn't pointless.

What good is this match doing to our chances in South Africa later this year? Except giving false hopes..

Come on Pujara, just take a single

pointless or not. even if it is list A its a good innings by dhawan. well done and reach a 250.

There are two unofficial Tests after this OD series. Those matches will tell you more about Indias batting.

We already know about our batting.. Our bowling remains a mystery :))

Flat deck so that Indian batsmen get false hope for test series.
A serious question-What will happen to SA after Steyn,Philander and Morkel are gone? Steyn can play around another 6-8 years and Morkel is very injury prone so not much there either. Philander has played a handful of matches and he has got injured in between them as well. So,Good luck SA for #1 spot in future.

India already have left handed Dhawan to open the inning, there is noway for another left hand batsman Gambhir or any other top order batsmen. India will open the inning with Dhawan and Vijay, one down Pujara and second down Sachin.

C'mon Dhawan. We want to demolish the goraas. Just take the revenge of your neighbors, just like we did against England.

Dude,Dhawan is a lefty, who right now looks like the first name for the squad, and we all know Dhoni is a fan of left-right combo at top.

What's wrong in opening with two lefties?

Team score 300 up in 39th over, lol

Still 10 overs left after this, should aim for 300

.
* Dhawan need to score 63 more runs to break the record of highest List A score. Ali Brown scored 268 in 160 ball in a match between Surrey and Glamorgan in 2002 at Oval.
.

can anyone check; Is this some sort of record?

edit : as expected webguru bro has posted, thanks. :viv

Its a shame there will be no video coverage of this innings....:((

.
* Dhawan is now second in the list of highest runs in a List A match before him it was Graeme Pollock with 222* runs.
.

This is unreal from Dhawan, Amnesty International should take note of the innings.

No offense but when someone makes 200 especially at this clip against your bowling line up something is really wrong. Where is the depth in ODI bowling in SA? Australia can field 3-4 pretty strong bowling line ups, yet SA struggle to put up one...
